The first seeds I collected and bred in a multi-decade continuous breeding project was called Purple Asian. Just saying. Still working on it today. That was in 1980. Jesus H...., that was 45 years ago. Probably a mercury halide light.
I had Mercury halide lamps when younger. If only I had grown some more of the seeds we got back then. So crazy now you can't get seeds except to pay $5-$10/seed. Wtf!?!! Got any photos of the Purple Asian?

Those purple veined calyxes are SICK.....How long does it really take for a plant like that to finish......6 months ?......

Respect......DHF.....
Probably 4 months + which is longer than I have. But I am considering throwing a few pure Manipur and some of the Manipur x KK outdoors this season to see how far they can get. Hopefully at least I can produce a shitload of seeds before they die from cold. I was able to grow to completion some Colombian x Acapulco x Oaxacan x Big Sur Holy weed that finished early November. That is about the cutoff for my climate on a good year.

Well, my Erawan female seems to have revegged. If it survives a few more months I will be putting it outside and it will likely become the largest plant I have ever grown. It is very healthy at this point. That will be fun. It is ~4ft right now. It will likely be 5-6 ft+ when I put it outside. I will repot it soon. Holy shit it is going to be huge.

I have cut the Manipur. Absolutely great smoke. Fruitly/flowery taste, smooth smoke. Pleasant, clear, and calming but not heavy like an indica. I will be growing the pure Manipur and the Manipur/Kroeng Krawia outdoors this year. The Erawan has finally started flowering of course a month before I put it outside. It was pollinated a little bit by the Erawan male and is about 6 ft tall. Will go outside in a month+. It is snowing here today...

I will say the Erawan and the KK were totally easiest sativa's I've ever grown indoors. No yellowing, no losing leaves. Just stayed all green and healthy throughout with no special care, no ferts. Only added organic ferts to the soil in the beginning. Love that. I will try to repot this Erawan into a 5 gal soon for the next month before going outside but these things are self-sufficient.
