I will post new photos soon. My outdoor Thais are now dead. They survived until late November but probably stopped putting out flowers in October. I have some Kroeng Krawia and Erawan seedlings growing indoors now. Also trying to sprout some Eastern Manipur seeds from Burma/India. I will try to pollinate all with some Mightymite/Freezeland pollen to greatly bring down the flowering time for my climate.

Ok here is the current tent. Plant on left (white pot) is the one Kroeng Krawia I have. The 2 in brown pots are Erawans. 2 landrace Thai cultivars. The small seedling in the lower right is an Eastern Manipur. From border region of India/Myanmar. I will flip these to 12/12 soon then let them flower for a few weeks. Then I will start some Mightymite x Freezeland seeds to get a male and use those to pollinate the sativas. If I get a sativa male, I will pollinate a female MM x F and maybe some branches of the other sativas. Main goal is the cross of pure sativas and MM x F.

Reason for using MM x F is that it is the earliest flowering variety I have. Finishes early Sept. Want to bring in the flowering time as much as possible in one cross. Then will see how long the F1s take to flower on average. May cross back to MM x F again if still too long or work the line toward earlier side.

What would you cross with a landrace Thai?
Also, how long do you think I should let these sativas start to flower before popping the MM x F seeds?

Hold on to your Filipino genetics, it’s the place to look for undisturbed SEA gene pools. Once Thai weed completely becomes dutched. Philippines from my pov is the next best thing. Ancestral use of cannabis, pre and post colonial.
