Thanks Gizmo666! Its coming along now getting fatter every day. Not sure how soon it will be done but here's its latest pictures. I have had to do a lot of tying because buds are getting heavy and bending the branches so it flops against the side lights too much. I need to get some acrylic guards on those side lights I think.

Here are some shots from day 70 of 12/12(day 56 of flower?). I am trying hard not to touch her. We're running out of bud again, but I think this really still has a couple weeks to finish. I live in the absolute worst state for finding bud it seems. I wish this plant would hurry up but it sure is beautiful at least!

I really need to get some acrylic guards over the side-lights. The buds are getting too heavy and its getting harder to keep them from flopping against the lights. Gooey 13 will be going in next and its a beast of a plant that will probably way overgrow that space.

Summer Breeze Trifoliate is on day 74 of 12/12 as of lights out last night. The breeder says 63 days and with the 14 days of preflower subtracted that means I am at day 60 right now. I've looked at the trichs a little and it looks like they are 100% cloudy with 5-10% amber at most. The buds are bursting with new pistils too so I don't think its time yet, and I doubt it will be in 3 more days like they claim. There's been a lot of setbacks and stress. The hemp mites are just the worst. The herm out buds and they generally are just a menace. The fact that they're microscopic makes it even worse. I'm so glad we're able to get this far. Things really came close to not working out at all. So far I have found about 10 nuts or so on it. In the past the herm pollen from this strain didn't seem to be able to make seeds for some reason(firing blanks?), but the herming is so mild considering all she has suffered that I am not stressing about it at all. I just carefully plucked the few I have found and its all good. The other day I was late getting back home from a thing for my kid and the cabinet was open a little for an hour or so and that is probably also why I saw a few show up over the next two days after that.

Anyway she's looking really good and I am getting very eager to see this stuff hanging up to dry. I know she has a lot of filling out she could do still though and I am trying to be disciplined about this.

It looks like you have her going your way and should get something good out of her now. I use cotton string and tie circles around the plant to hold the bud stems up and keep them from sagging. 😎

hey Klompen,
Looks like you are getting things straightened out. Here's to plentiful harvest in your future.

Oh I am definitely going to have to plan better for Gooey 13. She is beastly and nearly 20 inches tall now. She's literally almost 2 cubic feet of foliage. I think compared to Summer Breeze here she is going to be much denser canopy. I've been training her side branches too with the side-lighting specifically in mind. The technique improves over time. I wish I had a better camera for capturing the details of the buds. I'm really not sure what to expect as far as how much longer she should go. I feel like she's not done, but I've never managed to finish this strain before because of the mites so I don't know. In 2 days I think I'll technically be at the 63 day of flower mark(day 77 of 12/12). My gut says it needs at least another week but I would love to hear people's thoughts on that....

My GF gives me the fucking stink eye hardcore when I tell her it might still be a couple weeks. I know she medically needs it even more than I do, but she is so hands-off when it comes to my growing. She's helped with guerilla growing before but the plant science stuff instantly turns off her ears. I really wish I could get her to love growing like I do but I am pretty sure that's never going to happen. We've smoked insane amounts of weed together but the one thing that could really make us independent disinterests her(other than the results obviously... lol). On the plus side: once we get the second chamber going(identical to this one), it will mean more steady supply and more variety in our stash jars. I am not sure this one chamber can keep us supplied with our needs, and it certainly limits our variety.

Here's what Gooey looks like as of last night. I'm going to need Summer Breeze to finish soon so I can get Gooey out of the veg chamber before she grows too big.

Thanks man! Hope things are going good for you and yours! Its getting cold as hell her but I'll be getting the next plant up on foam or something so her roots don't freeze. The Midwest is horrible this time of year and it gets worse..... Finally have the bugs all managed now though so it won't be a repeat of last winter's failed flower run. I put a crazy amount of work into that run and nothing, but at least it taught me lessons about how to improve it.

It really wasn't until my first run of Gooey 13 I got this new chamber to produce anything ok, but I know it was nowhere near its potential. I'm running less than 175W in this chamber thought and I would guess that plant must have a quarter pound at least on it at this point. I am really hoping it fattens up to at least and HP worth. Given the early problems in flower that might be ambitious but we'll see! Getting the feeding regimen just right under the QB style LEDs has taken a while but I think keeping calcium and magnesium up is a really big deal with these kinds of lights.

We've been plucking off some of the larf buds that are in bad positions to get light or are being squeezed. So far we've left the tops alone. We're finally starting to see the buds form that "foam" look as the calyxes are swelling as soon as they are created. Mostly cloudy trichs but I am not seeing much amber yet. Life has been very busy though so I haven't had much chance to update my journal.

Gooey 13 is getting massive and really shadowing the rest of the chamber. I need to get this thing into flower soon....

Day 86 of 12/12(day 72 of flower). I think we're getting close on these now. The trichs are fully cloudy but not really seeing amber yet. I thought I was, but its just an effect caused by the QB96's red diodes. Still seeing intermittent herm flowers but considering all the stress this plant suffered from the mites its pretty minimal still. I really just don't know when to give this girl the axe so we can get Gooey 13 going before she overgrows the veg space.

She is still filling out nicely, but flowering has been slower than it should be. I figured out its because the plant is uptaking too much nitrogen. I have been using massive amounts of wood ash and cannabis ash to raise the pH to lock out nitrogen and also to give P and K. I think I might be past day 90 though. Hopefully I will find my camera charger and can get some pics up soon.

Merry Christmas to you too Packerfan! Everyone else too. I tried to post yesterday but the internet has been going bonkers here.

Its day 94 of 12/12 and she's still not finished yet. Getting very close, but I really think I delayed here with too much nitrogen. We've been trying to behave as far as cutting off of it but it hasn't been easy. Here are some pictures from Christmas Eve.
