Hey thanks man I really appreciate that. I definitely feel lucky to be in the situation I'm in. Anyone who's medical in cali has access to potentially almost any strain they want. I really would like to grow king klones white buffalo because its definitely one of my favorite smokes.I also can't wait to try some dark heart cuts. They just sell out at rcp in sac so fast. Alright so it's been awhile since I updated this. 2015 went really good in my opinion. I learned so much from everyone here on icmag. Thanks to the wealth of great info here I was able to really step up my game and get a result im happy with. And I gotta say anyone who is considering going organic do it! The quality and flavor and everything about the bud is better.

So here's some dried bud shots. I did a flash and a non flash for each strain. Sorry about the shitty camera phone quality.

Here's the blue dream. It's so fruity and delicious smelling. Honestly I've never been a huge fan of blue dream but king klones cut is on point. Really great flavor, especially out of a bong or even more a rosin dab.

Next is the gdp. This plant stayed short and bushy and produced super fat dense colas. It's smell and flavor are really nice. Very floral. It did have some issues with bud rot though. I think it could have come out better if I had been a little more careful.

This one is the black jack. I really liked the structure and yield on this plant. I also love the smell very loud jack citrus almost. Super greasy and makes lots of nice light sticky rosin with delicious flavor that matches the smell.

And finally the Candyland. I love this strain. Really nice dense frost covered nugs that just reek of almost burnt rubber smell but in a good dank way lol. I highly recommend it.

Yo kaizen44, great looking plant man! Your black jack buds look denser than mine did I think. Like priznnplanet said, 10-14 days more should give you some more weight. You could chop right now if you really wanted but it definitely looks a little early still

If you aren't having problems with caterpillars, mold or mildew than I would let it go as long as you can...

Man I really liked the flavor of the black jack. It made some incredibly delicious rosin. Honestly the flavor of the rosin was pretty different than smoking the buds. Crazy terps... wish I could have grown it again this year

Hey zack thanks for taking the time to check them out. I had a few problems with moths and catapillers back in week 4-5 so I used some bt/Spinosad along with some netting to cover them at night. Then the humidity started getting high from fog so about a week ago I started keeping them in my garage at night which is kind of a pain but now I'm having to worry less about pests and mold. The biggest is making sure my wife doesn't turn the lights on if she needs something out. We now have a rule that I'll get what she needs in the dark haha.

Also midway though my grow my back neighbor decided to redo the fence so I had a great time keeping my baby hidden from the workers eyes. Such a pain...but worth the secrecy.

The smell has been amazing so far. Very strong sweet berry smell I'm stoked to see how it smells after drying and curing. I'll be sure to post back when she's all finished up. I took an early bud off to sample about a week ago and it was crazy my fingers were actually wet like I had rinsed them with resin. I do have a scope I've been using and the trichs have been cloudy for awhile now. I was waiting for maybe 10-20% to turn amber but it hasn't happened yet. I started doubting when I should harvest as I thought maybe I was farther away from harvest than I thought. I may chop all the big colas in about a week and let all the lower stuff go for another 7-14 just to see what happens.

Damn thats dedication moving your plants in and out of the garage every night. Have you considered doing a spring or summer light dep in a small greenhouse? Pulling a tarp would probably be easier than moving whole plants everyday

I don't think a little light will hurt your girls when they are this far along so maybe just ask the wifey to keep it brief if shes going in the garage. My neighbor has a huge plant in his backyard that definitely gets my headlights and other light on it all the time at night and it is doing great... sometimes we as growers tend to over think and over complicate things haha know what I mean?

Sounds like a good plan for harvesting. Maybe leave a couple bigger colas to see how they do with more time

Ok cool I'll check it out. Your probably right about the light thing. Being a new grower you get a sense that any small mistake will result in Hermies. Probably just me overthinking things. Yea not a bad idea to let a few colas go long and see the effects.

Some after trim pics and a few of my favorite colas. Took down about half the plant. Was pretty leafy so did the best I could. Very strong lemon cleaner smell now. It's insane how smelly this strain is.

Thats the most exciting part for sure. I might be giving some away lo. Theres definitely something to be said for knowing that theres no toxic chemicals in your own stash.
