Kindsoil, snake oil or super soil for the lazy?

Came across the product on another site. I understand that it is also a super soil technique where the "super soil" is placed in the lower portion of your pot and the rest is topped off with either an inert medium or a milder mix.

Honestly, I would love to build a soil, but I do not have the time. It seems a bit pricey, but for what I will get out of it, not so much.

Is this product genuine, or just more snake oil. Also, what do you guys think of the technique.

The product is probably a money making scheme, but that is in no way a comment on it's ability to be effective. The concept of using less nutrient dense soil or substrate for the seedling and the bottom, even sides a compost rich and nutrient dense soil is not a new one however, and is usually "naturally" the way it goes as you pot up anyway, so the process is sound and a safe bet so you dont root or nute burn the little guys and get good growing plants after they develop more

Seems interesting. Nothing really wrong with it. Their site offers a credit for pics using their products, grow journals and whatnot.

The upfront cost is usually high on time savers. You are paying to have more time in your life. I spend extra now on certain things that save time. I feel its worth it because ive already worked for the money, cant take it with me when i die, so i might as well pay to enjoy nore of my life.

In general these types of products seem to work well. Theres a new one here in canada thats coming out of BC thats a total organic system. Its a soil as well as some boosters and stuff. Looks pricey but neat i might try.

I dont grow in soil anymore and happy i dont but did enjoy it while i did. Ive moved from organic soil, to organic coco, hydro coco and now on to perlite/rockwool crouton mixture. I may play with cannas terra, bio terra and a few organics in some side by sides down the road, not sure yet
