Heading for the finish line. There are some sweet fresh flower scents if you stick your nose right into a bud.

It is already in the cutting process since the beginning of this week, dull odors, milky trichomes, tomorrow what is fatter and the rest in about 10 days, resin in abundance, as soon as this list I will advance something about it, already dry, a little of everything in it.
A pleasure to be able to enjoy it after a pleasant crop last photo Eti / Mal on the right

This is the fermented peaches smelling one.

not sure why the forum murders the resolution on these pictures.

Got done trimming up my KA5H2 last night. It’s the more woody smelling haze pheno. 2 runs Indoors it had very little in the way of smell. A super light weed smell but mostly just woody. Outdoors though, and who knows maybe it’s from letting it go almost 3 weeks longer, it developed a menthol kind smell to it. It was also way leafier grown outdoors than inside.

Unfortunately the caterpillars seem to have liked this one more than my Panamas :( . She wasn’t a total loss, but around 2/3 of the plant was full of moldy caterpillar crap tunnels. Most of the main buds were rotted from the little bastards.

I have noticed this particular pheno has been prone to bud mold and mold in jars if not cured 100% perfectly which is why this pheno isn’t being kept even though it’s a fabulous wake n bake/daytime haze smoke.
My other KA5H1 plant does not mold, period. I’m so stoked for its harvest in another week or two especially given the smells it has. It’s also substantially stronger in the “put your butt on the couch” dept than pheno 2.

Sounds nice man. I have noticed a few of my jars also getting a touch of mold if the humidity level isn't perfect. If you do a short cure then longer term storage in the freezer you can halt that though. That's my next exploration, and I just picked up a small 1 cubic foot tabletop freezer for just storing herb and pollen. Nice for preserving delicate terpenes at different stages and so far even the jars in my kitchen freezer which has self defrost have been wonderful, but I don't trust it for pollen.

I’ve started vacuum sealing all my jars and no longer have issues with mold starting during/after cure and haven’t noticed any ill effects on anything.

My real trick for next year aside from better caterpillar control is going to be dust control. The dust storms we occasionally get really deposit some dirt on things. I’ve got a greenhouse coming sometime in late winter that I’m hoping will help with both as well as keeping the rain off things in late flower.

Yeah TexasTea, I molded 5 jars of the Haze KaliChina by jarring it too soon. I put those buds on a cardboard box lid for a few days and the mold smell is gone. Best and biggest buds stayed wet longer, and the internal wetness came out in the jar. I need hygrometers.

I just started jarring my KA5H, and made damn sure the stems were snappier. The bigger buds are getting a few more days.

Been hitting the stuff with the Mighty as I cut off the buds, and it is damn good dope. Not couchy at all. I pulled when the heads started frosting.

Thanks Dubi.

Hehe, I know it. Funny how some of us are on the same wavelength and are growing the same strains at the same time. I'm pretty stuck on the Red Snake though for the next cycle, then thinking about popping Bodhi's Zipolite and maybe some Indian Landrace Exchange stuff. Also have CBG Mangobiche that I want to try, and in the middle of two Punto Rojo plants right now.

Damn, I missed out on the Punto Rojo and Mangobiche from when the man himself was running things.
I’m curious to see how the Red Snake Turns out for you. I’m doing a run of Kalichina x Zamaldelica currently, then some Green mountain stuff before getting into my St Lucian seed stash and seeing what I can work with from them.

I just sampled some of my KA5H2 from my outdoor grow. It dried faster than I wanted it to so the cure is off, but damn is it potent and a very good Wake n Bake up high. Still has the odd menthol smell it didn’t get indoors, and has the weirdest taste I’ve ever experienced. Not a bad taste, but kind of like Maple syrup would taste if you just slightly charred it.

Usa can't get direct but I'm getting some fem killer a5 and malawi standard soon for next years outdoors
I have to give ace another shot hopefully I can breed a holy grail fantasy strain this is the only way to see for sure if those descriptions are accurate so far I think its hype honestly but who else has stuff like this?
I caught a glimpse of the malawi high in violeta of all plants lol I grew gt3 and malawi and those were ok the violeta too was just ok but after 3 fat joints back to back it gave me that mind movie high where you visualize very clearly what your thinking about like thinking in pictures it was a rare 13 week flower fluffy looking fat yield purple buds green leaf plant type

So in conclusion the high I like is their in the malawi but I need to be stronger I need to find and breed the right phenotypes and I think killer a5 haze crossed to malawi or gt2 or mal x pan and zamaldelica can breed a good strain im even thinking purple haze malawi and mal x pck to cross to killer a5 or all of those fem and backrossed to malawi .....

My little bonsai came down a week ago. Not quite ready to jar yet. Very nice fragrance, took a tiny sample toke and this one has plenty of legs already.
