Soapy like ginger? :yay: I found that usually turns into frankincense when smoked!

Haha that would be awesome! Honestly it’s been so long since I’ve smelled incense, I might just need to go get some to get reaquainted with the smell! :biglaugh:

As of now the forward most smell is like a bar of Irish spring soap. Lol ... but there is something else in there too, and I suspect it might be the incense profile that this line is supposed to have.

Im getting really excited as this will be my first real, longer flowering Sativa and my first time with anything that actually has some real haze in it. Even though it’s a hybrid, the haze is closer than dispensary haze types that flower in 8-9 weeks due to so much indica influence.

I .... can’t .... wait :jump:

..... but Im going too, Ill give her a few more weeks like everyone says, I don’t want to short change her ;)

Ozz you can also try partial harvesting, with a quick drying, some low flowers maybe ready and you can find the sweet spot of your liking...

Hey Consolidated, thanks for the suggestion. They seem to be pretty uniform, as in Im seeing 5-10% amber pretty much across the entire plant. She has gotten noticeably stickier though over the last week and going by what everyone else is saying it sounds like that could pick up in the next few weeks.

Im going to feed her a BioBloom feeding tonight as per Dubis recommendation, then I’ll switch to molasses for a few waterings, then next week I’ll ease into straight RO again and let her ride it out and see what she does. Would be great to get increased weight and more resin. Scents certainly are changing

Nice job OZZ. I’ve found some of these haze hybrids get really unhappy without a constant supply of food. I have no experience with the A5 yet though. Thanks for taking lots of pictures, I’ve been enjoying watching her grow.

Thanks for following along! I’ve enjoyed having you all and being able to learn from everyone here :tiphat:

Lots of talented and generous people around these boards that’s for sure.:dance013:

I have a question regarding flowering response in Sativa strains from clone vs seed plants.

I’ve heard for a long time that clones flower faster and stretch less than seed plants, sometimes finishing as much as a few weeks faster even, and with less stretch. However, is that true only if the clone was taken from a sexually mature plant? Or will it still be true if the clone was taken from a small seed plant that has not shown sex and/or preflowers?

12 weeks on the dot. I feed her two days ago, biobloom at 2 ml/liter and she responded by blowing up even more. Shooting out pistils everywhere and fattening up. I’m thinking I’ll follow up with a couple molasses waterings next week (week 13), then straight RO the week after (week 14) and plan to take her around wk 14-15 depending on how she looks

Beware picture overload, I’m enamored with this girl

Thanks guys, as mentioned I feel like I could keep feeding her and she would just flower forever lol.

I’ve got the lights set at 10/14 now to try to help things along.

Excellent friend :) She is really enjoying being feeded again so i would continue with the feeding a bit longer now that she is reflowering abundantly again.
It is also convenient to lower down the photoperiod to 10/14  Massive colas! :D

Thanks for the guidance Dubi. I must admit it feels very weird to feed this late in the cycle, But if that’s what you say she needs then that’s what I’ll do ;)

After that last feeding I’m noticing the buds are starting to look very leafy, is this normal for Sativas during reflowering? Or do I have a problem? Here is some close ups of those last shots I posted of her. That biobloom is 2-7-4 so it does have nitrogen in it, I’m wondering if that’s causing all this leaf. Previously the buds were looking nice with visible calyxes

Yes OZZ,excess N will cause that
Dubi mentioned/observed that when I had mine indoors

Thanks Red. Maybe this biobloom has too much in it for this late into flowering.

I appreciate the advice everyone :tiphat:

I decided to pull her out and have a closer look at her as I haven’t pulled her out in weeks because the big pot is hard to get out of the tent. Under lights with edited photos I feel that it’s hard to see how she really looks. Natural day light with unedited photos is best.

She flopped all over on me so I had to tie her up again and wrestle her back into the tent lol. My bamboo stakes haven’t arrived yet so all I have are these extra tent poles and string.... but hey they get the job done lol

..... and here is a small underdeveloped bud that I snipped Off for a tester in a few days after it dries. It was well underneath the canopy so not getting any light at all.

Up until now, I have not gotten any hint of incense in this girl, but when I pinched off this little bud it hit me smack in the face. I haven’t smelled incense in years but this was undeniably incense. Obnoxiously so even. The whole plant has gotten very very sticky as well. My fingers are sticking to the screen of my phone as I type this
