Looking good!! Can't wait to see it come together!

I approve of the no mylar decision, btw. While Reflectix might gain you 4-5% increased reflectivity (bringing the total to 86% instead of the 91% or so that you now have), it's a very small gain and there is something to be said for the ease with which flat white can be kept clean -- and how it reveals things which need to BE cleaned.

I second this statement. Mylar is such a pain in the butt to work with. I currently use this stuff

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004WI44LM/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A34ZYRFBMEHIF5

Next cab I build with I plan on using white gloss paint however.

I didn't say to pack the ballast! I was pretty particular when I listed ducting, fan and silencer. Don't put anything else in the area you want to pack with pink.

You might want to rethink your utility distribution if sound is the issue. I do think you would be better off with a 100x than a 100 -- and it's only a small price increase. (1.5" bigger though) in terms of horizontal space, so there's that. Plus, a more powerful fan dialed down is quieter than a less capable fan that needs to be turned up under static pressure. I don't know how big the noise issue is -- only you know that for sure under normal use in your typical living conditions.

Sorry, misunderstood the ballast bit. My hardware area is up there so I guess I could section off one part for the cords and ballast and then insulate the part with ducting, etc.

The 100x will not fit where I need it to go. The 100 will by about 1/2 - 3/4 inch.

Thanks for all of your help man.

Thanks man. I appreciate it and will check that out. I just like the sound of flat white right now because I have always dealt with mylar in the past.

Little update-

I got my light situated 100% now. The outlets of the cool tube are 5" and I needed to get them down to 4". Metal duct reducers at home depot were a bit too long for me and it would have barely fit in the cab.. Instead, I grabbed these 4"-3" adapters for PVC. The 3" side fit the 4" tubing around the outside which I will tape with foil tape before I turn the cab on and the 4" side on the adapter fit the 5" side over my cool tube. I have to tweak it a bit, I want to add some holes in each end so I can just have the light hanger through the rubber and slide it on more..

Heres some pics so show you what I mean.

Also, heres a little teaser of what is getting ready to flower, I will flower in pairs, biggest to smallest. The huge one is LST like a mother fucker, I have NEVER had to tie down this many branches so early on. It has about 8-10 tops right now.
Pic is from the 23rd-

Got my intake all setup today.

For the flanges I used a hydrofarm 4 inch adapters for their reflectors. I cut a hole on each bottom corner and put these on.

Remember- I used two four inch holes because I will be using a single four inch outlet. You always want your intake to be double the size of exhaust hole on passive systems.

I layered caulk between the flange and the cabinet backing to ensure a light proof and air tight seal before I bolted them in place.

I love how this came out instead of just having holes cut like in the past. It really neatens things up a bit and allows me to easily attach ducting or other elbows to make it light proof.

I will ad this to the first page once I get my fan and install the exhaust flange.

I may want to use that Hydrofarm vent adapter for another purpose. Or is that white plate part just a dryer vent plate? That's the part I need.

If not, can you point me to few more pics of it somewhere? (reverse+ side angle?)

It's all one piece. They had some different sizes at the hydo shop. 7.99

What do you have in mind for it? Always good to have multiple uses for things.

Where did you get that slick mini cool tube???

Ill dig up a link tomorrow as I am on my phone so it's a bitch to search.

Exactly what you are using it for. I am looking for an appropriate plate hookup for a case I am building. It looked like what I wanted and a little more polished than a 4" dryer vent plate.

They have lower profile ones too but these have a bump that holds ducting on tight. A four inch car maf adapter works too ;) I almost went with that.

Thanks for stopping by!

Small Plant Update-

I wont be working on the cab until this weekend and pretty much all I need is for my fan to show up and to get mirrors cut to cover the glass doors and one more for the top of the cab so it looks a little nicer ;)

Heres my bitches (hopefully all bitches) lol.

The big one is the madman OG that I am LOVING so much. It grows very bush, I have LST'd this bitch a lot (check the pic) and I plan to take clones and throw in flower as soon as the cab is ready. It already has trichs on the leaves, showing pistils and has alternating node growth. Also, she is that classic OG dark green.

I topped the other Madman, kinda scrawny looking guy that is tied over. This one is a runt clone that is as old as the bushy one.

The two Hawaiian Punch bagseeds are going nice, both have been topped and #4 has been topped 2 times now well I guess 3 times technically.

I am super excited!

I think they look droopy because I had just taken them out of the dark period. I will try to cut back watering a bit I guess but I dont want the cups to dry out.
