Thanks again guys! I love the link!! I don't have anything against butane, just don't live in a situation where I can use it easily (and, therefore, safely). I am freezing everything now and will be ready to run shortly. I am going to start small amounts and learn how to manage the filters. I have 2 metal filters I can stack that will hopefully (and quickly) take off most of the refuse before it even hits the paper. We'll see how it goes..

a little bit of activated charcoal in liquid solution swirled will help filter out impurities as well

Sorry fellas, got a bit distracted.. Used 99% iso and it still came out with 0 clarity. It was also only semi-stable at room temp. Did cold washes at varying lengths of time, from 10 seconds to mixing and freezing over night to allow everything to settle to the bottom of the jar and pouring off the solution at the top (one thing about using kief for oil.. It is messy and makes filtration a serious pain in the ass). I am guessing at this point that the quality of kief must be off. Seemed fine while smoking it, just can't figure what else might have gone wrong with the extraction???
