Okay so I'm still Learning, I only have a few grows under my belt. Anyways here's a problem I'm currently facing. I had two master KUSH plants, one was covered in trichomes, dense, smelly, and it had a "turf" look to it. Now the second one looks like a normal budding female, but doesn't appear the same as the other master KUSH (the good one). Theres hardly any trichomes on it, little smell, but otherwise fat,and shitty. They were both from the same company same batch and all.
I recently discovered the fact that there are different phenotypes of the same strain.
I had the exact same thing happen with my first grow of jack herer. One was dank premium bud and the other was swag.
So with the KUSH I have now, should I wait to see what she does or cut her down and move in a plant that will produce? I'm not 100% sure when I started them but the good plant has been harvested, after 6 weeks of flowering. So the crappy plant is probably on week 8 of flower and still no trichomes. In the future when is a good time to cut my loses, like if no trichomes by week ??, cut it.
Thanks in advance
