Only 9....LOL.

This is why I don't bother anymore. Forget time tested diligent work. Nope. Everyone wants a catalog of 100 strains, 91 of which are more or less exactly the same thing.

Whatever happened to QUALITY of quantity???

It took me 6 years to release 3 lines. These hacks pumping out page after page of new seeds every year are exactly that - HACKS.

That or when some start breeding and then looking at their probable death date they tend to not want to sequester themselves to such a small genetic pool and crazy amount of years of life when there is such an amazing array out there.

Most boring shit I have come to notice over the years of growing is anything with an ibl label or that has been strongly worked. Amazing how that works. Who would have thought bland and boring compared to a huge amount of awesome diversity would come from winnowing genes down to the point where everything looks and tastes (or doesn't taste at all) the same.

I used to have a narrow minded view of breeding and what was actually good. Turns out all my favorite lines aren't bred 'proper'. As well as all my favorite cuts. It's really cool though that Skunk #1 breed true though /shrug lol. I think all corn being bland and the same color now about as cool too.

Personally I am grateful for the huge variety breeders put out today. If someone wants to dedicate 6-20 years on a single strain cool beans it has it's place in the market, but I'll take my 'chuckers' that provide variety any day from my first hand experience over the years. And it's not like Karma or many of the people making crosses have completely thrown out breeding. They just don't take it the ocd level it doesn't need to be taken to every time.

One thing I have noticed over the years is all the people growing with book smarts pot I have tried aren't that great in comparison and their business success, forums, and final product tend to show this. Lots of respect for their knowledge though.

I dont believe the cannabis gene pool is gaining much diversity from the folks chucking the same elite clones to random males and hoping for a lucky pheno.

Although my experience with Karma's OG lines is very limited, I can tell you that of all the Biker Kushs (V2) I have grown and/or tested, there wasn't a single one that wasn't a properly ass-kicking representation of OG. They have all the looks/smell/taste and punch one could wish for.
The two different Josh D OGs I've grown and smoked so far were very nice OG'esc plants as well with a high to die for and some serious potency. But both lacked that classic nose and flavor. There's certainly some "fire" to be found in this line as well, but for now I'd say: Give the Biker Kush a try - I'm sure you won't regret it:tiphat:

I just did Headbanger and I should have let them go another week probably. Next time and at least I now have a nice keeper. I’m starting to appreciate how much time and effort go into the process of making and keeping a selection of moms even on a small scale.
Maybe snag a pack of Tha melon I if I can. Good or bad time wise it’s going to be months before I can try them. Limited space and my next few grows are planned and provided I can also grab some SourD that will be next. After that, Tha melon. Maybe shuffling some depending on what I have. Trying to acquire some external genetics and moms over the next year to set myself up for a very long time. Karma genetics will be a large part. Just got to find the keepers.

Hey Karma can you please tell us where your future drops are going to be ? Attitude and or ?? Day and time is obviously to be determined but where to watch is much appreciated. I want to grow piles (small) of your stuff. Deltanine0513 @ IG.
Really liked the potcast. 3 hours of really cool info. What do you find that promotes root growth in soil if you have a tip?

Attitude and puresativa. Puresativa is my distributor and always gets it.

For good roots many products around, but most important is good wet dry cycle.s most of us overwater and ore dry out to much on soil.
