Karma Genetics Strain Info, Listings, And all........

How are your fruitbowls coming along?

They're doing awesome and will be coming down soon, most really bulked up but one is landing on the lame side of yield. All of them have crazy trichome density, so much that they make the Apollo 11 look underwhelming in comparison. The biggest one smells very pleasant, slightly tropical and very "clean" smelling with a little funk. The others do have a bit more of a skunk smell, and they kind of do remind me of fresh wild berries.

If they end up being a my kind of sativa leaning high I definitely want to run another pack of them. Even if not, they've been a joy to grow. I'm hoping to spark some up around Christmas time so that will be fun.

Did you get to sample some of your harvest yet?

Well I have spent a lot hours reading thru this entire thread a couple times which is so cool its like ice water. And a lot of other threads in the KG section. I just wish I could smell some of the pics on this place.

I have a question or two, and I know KarmaG is a busy busy man so if he isnt able and one of the circle can tell me a couple things.

First, I hear of the SD Bx2 and excuse my lack of prior knowledge but some info on the back cross and how its progressing. I have spent way to many hours reading how the whole rez thing and the arguments from others about the various SD lines but seems like the IBL gets the win by votes. Unless I haven't read enough. I only wish I could participate with real world experience but cant. I can say I have been to Deer Creek a few times if that counts. Its not called that anymore but,, look it up. Im dying to try this and since Im in a non legal area to get what seems to be as close as I can a true sativa strain but I wouldnt really know so Im going on following along from contributors here and elsewhere. Kind of like attending college online :shucks: in my 50's.

I am also following on IG for the release in early 19 if I read correctly as of the last couple days? Is there a US based bank or two I should look at ? Ive bought from SHN and GLG (high TonyG got a pack of your Bx4 GB recently and its next after the HB run in my small space) among others. I also have bought from a few EU banks and recently of Canna and a few others and I have a couple packs of Cannarado in the nice white packs. I also am watching the retailers listed on the KG website like a hawk.

I am realizing I missed my calling a little late in life and figured out I am so into the nature of the process of growing cannabis its as much of a study and hobby as enjoying the smoke. I envy you people who are body and soul invested in this and can eke out or make a good living at it. I will have to settle for being a home grower and try to ONLY grow the best genetics since I only can grow a few plants at a time. I have gifted some of my grows to one fam member and a friend who have told me my humble attempts have produced flowers better than they can find elsewhere including legal dispensaries. My first grow was a total fail of Blue Dream but live and learn.

So Im sorry for the over long post but I really want to get a pack of the SD reversed or two for one of a very few bonsai moms I aim to have for years. I am currently nursing 5 out of a pack week old seedlings of HB hoping the rest pop to help for a mom hunt. And buy another pack of HB for backup and the collection. I have my first two bonsai moms of a glue from seed strain (to be replaced by GB Bx4 this summer) but as the stable improves down the road only the best few will stay. I and my wife like sativa most of all but a little Indica dom strain is a nice change.

Can I suggest for those in the know or KG a separate thread maybe on the upcoming SD Bx2 if its got more info your customers and fans would like ?

KarmaG live large, good luck and man I wish I was smart enough long ago to follow that path.

Karma G (and any people/experts who wish to chime in): What's your favourite strain?

I am trying to assemble a catalogue of sorts. My hobby grow can only house so many plants. And I would like to grow a collection representative or comprised of known breeders and growers' genetics from around the country (I want to say world but that might be a bit arrogant I really only speak English). This means I may only be able to grow 1-2 strains from a particular breeder at any given time. I would like to encompass as much of the community, as wide a net as possible.

For example OG (Florida -> CA), Juicy Fruit (FL?), Bubble Gum (Indiana), Blueberry (Oregon), and so on. I may not get what I ask for but I want a name from/for each. I do not want crosses or popular names crossed. This will probably get confusing especially if breeders are using two popular names in crosses for all of their strains but I want to try and keep it organized.

I'm not writing little league rules but it is different if a well known breeder crosses chem 91 and gets amazing results than if a new startup out of nowhere has a dozen different S1s or hybrids crossed. Humboldt would likely get Trainwreck and either Blue Dream or something like that. I find that when you ask someone to narrow it down to one that is actually a really good question. It might sound kind of cold like all my other children they are all special but no you have to just pick one or two as in one of each and let go of the rest.

That's the dichotomy of selective breeding, choosing one specimen from all is challenging scary even really not as safe or the same thing as using several males and females which gets closer to open pollination. Saying "these are my 20 best stains" is easy it's like a no brainer but how about just pick one desert island that's all you get to keep etc.

I am trying to do this unbiased w/o egos. I am not talking about the city or state of origin I'm just talking about the cannabis like in a double blind test which are good. So every known breeder regardless of state, this I would think serves as an objective entry for all people. More entries might come from CA or Colorado but they are larger states with more people and more cannabis. It only makes sense that CA might have 5 breeders for every 1 in North Dakota or Minnesota. That doesn't have to carry any ego or get in the way of objective assessment. Best bud can come from Europe, Colorado, North Dakota, Wisconsin.

If Karma G had a namesake or signature strain which would be the one to get? I know it's a tough question.

Whats happening with the S.D.K?
Ive visited on a few occasions on here while not renstating my membership over the last 7-10 years & its always out of stock or in the pipeline again.
I would like to have it again as its a lovley , does what it says on the tin flavour wise .
Nice strawberry taste with the fuel taste/smell still there but not taking away the delightfull strawberry taste both complimenting perfectly.
It went through hardy conditions in a mates flat who never had his heating on in winter & still thrived with minimum care and yielded a over medium harvest of solid foxtail buds.
Is there any news or seeds availaible to buy?
Returning grower & fourm member coming up a decade last time a full time member frequenting inbetween.

Cut down my six mini Fruitbowl fems today at 58 days, overall I'm very impressed by the quality. I had zero problems with the plants growing them in soil w/ basic soil additives and organic nutes. I would say this is the best weed I've grown relative to effort required, rock solid results from the cultivation aspect. I trimmed and kept three for re-vegging and cloning, though I plan on running another pack this spring.

Downright outstanding genetics I think, I can't wait to experience the buzz.
