Call it "holy shit this is the best OG you ever had OG" lol.

All bs aside I don't understand why people just can't call things what it already is. In reality I think we already fucked up on the name game long ago. I think things should have been easily tracked back to it roots from where it came from. I do love all the clever names just sucks that we don't know how many times a afghan was crossed to a paki.. We more than likely have hundreds of the same genes going by different names.

This is exactly how I feel. I'm a goober for knowing where beans come from. If people would name strains/cuts in this manner, we'd know where everything comes from...

:laughing::laughing::laughing::laughing:

Couldn't have said it better myself. No offense to anyone that does this, I even do it myself when coming up with strain names so I get it but then I don't get it. I think we do it because everyone wants to leave their mark/stamp so to speak. IMO, sometimes it's fine and dandy like when you create a strain yourself or when you find some seeds in some great bud but have no way to identify the pollen donor and true lineage is an unknown. What I don't get is when someone grows out some DooDoo Kush<--made up name, selects a keeper and then says, I'm calling this cut "Whatever Kush". Why would you do that when that's not what it is. I understand you popped the seed, grew the plant, and selected the cut but is it not still DooDoo Kush? I just don't get it but that's another story.

Back on topic, Third, that's an awesome selection you have on your hands there bro.:tiphat: I've read this entire thread maybe 4 or 5 times but never commented, my apologies. I have the BK V1 and will be popping a half pack along with 5 other strains as soon as I can get setup. I don't think it yields quite as well as BK V2 but should be some similarities nonetheless. First run in some years so wish me luck.

Here she is 7weeks in...Straight OG funk for sure. More importantly I have figured out what they like but they still are a bit of a bitch to clone. I love the challenge

Looking good SG. I got a couple into flower with no hiccups a few weeks ago. Back to back feedings with 10 ml's per gallon of calmag seems to do the trick for mine. A good foliar of calcium carbonate didn't seem to hurt as well.

I'll try to get some pics up in the coming weeks. Going to be a couple real nice plants.

Also got 12 Karma OG up and vegging along.
