Those pics look awesome venturahwy!!! I grew the KK for awhile, and like you I loved it. That lemon pledge og funk is strong and makes for really great tasting smoke. I actually have a couple reg beans of it your making me wanna pop!!

This Kandy is a great plant, highly recommended. It's got a great yield and when I open the jar it has that dank OG skunky lemon smell…. and a really nice high.
Which out of Skywalker and Kandy did you like better?
The Kandy was much better. The Skywalker 1 was lousy but I have another in bloom that I like. I'll let you know in a couple of weeks how it turns out.
OK here is a skywalker that turned out looking great, sour dank smells for sure.

Jammie- if your ever in that predicament again.....I would go with the Kosher over the Kandy. I have run both for a considerable amount of time, and the Kosher walks all over the Kandy....for reals..lol.

My Kandy has a strong OG kush smell even when dry. Love that smell.

Has anyone bought a pack of these lately? I grew a few out years ago and want to know if RP is still doing a good job with it. They and DNA are the same right? I'm trying to figure if the Kandy Kush is worth picking up if I'm already grabbing DNA's Florida Lemons and Golden Lemons.

i grew a kk 3-4 years ago with a free seed i got. The best plant i ever had. I grew her 4-5 times and then gave the clone to a cousin of mine.She was very like og and had a very kushy smell and appearance but with more yield and a high influenced by the trainwreck side witch i liked better compared to the couch-lock og high. She grew small buds but very very many and when you wade the final product it was much heavier than you would expect. I had maneged to yield 500g off her once , with 600 watt hps. When i asked for her back , he gave me some other plant and when it flowerd i asked him wtf? and he said he probably had lost her by mistake. Last year i bought 3 more kk beans to try to find an other kk keeper. The three new plants were all more trainwreck leaning , with bigger buds , but none of them was something special , no really nice smells and none of them was something special in general. But all of them had that sweet deep kind of high KK has. I also have tried several KK in Amsterdam and all had that sweet deep high. The fact i dint find a new keeper , doesn't necessarily mean that the beans Reserva Privada makes aren't good any more. Its probably just a matter of luck. The genetics are still their , but you have to try many beans till you find a keeper , as goes with all beans. i think ,you ll probably find all reserva privada plants to have quality if you grow them right, but one in ten will be something special , witch isn't so bad for a seed company compared to some other companies. I think DNA has bought RP , but its deferent teams that work on the deferent strains. Of course they exchange genetics , but i think every team specializes on their own strains. I have the feeling the RP team is a bit better , it has more stable results , especially on California based strains. For example Chocolope from DNA is a very good and stable strain , but Training Day , witch is the DNA version of KK but with LAconf instead of OG , isn't a good example of breeding , she is very strong but often herms.

I just finished up a Kandy Kush Clone floating around the SoCal Scene.... it looked solid...yielded nice golf balls everywhere... Smoke had Zero flavor and no kick to it
I helped a friend grow out kandy kush. He had a ebb n flow set up with hydro tron. I dont agree with that commercial approach. Of course he was in a hurry so they could of ran a week or more from my perspective.
Really enjoyed the high. I'm still trying to decide what I'm going to grow for my first private set up.
I really want to find the squat pheno because I will be growing baseball bats. Theres 2 other phenos right. What would you go with?
