I ended up watering again with the nutes because they plants look like they are doing fine, no yellowing leafs or anything. I still have to buy the intake fan for the hps so for now I will just be running a regular fan to draw the hot air out and a small fan at the bottom outside of the tent to bring in cool air.

SO EXCITED. Got my 600w MH/HPS in the mail today. Got it all hooked up and took some pictures. Still going to get a intake fan for the light. Won't know the actual temps until tomorrow as the plants only have about a hour with the light today so will report back with that.
Anyway, onto the pictures! Sorry the place looks like a mess, was in the process of moving tent and getting everything set up

Temps are staying around 80 right now, light has been on for 5 hours. IDK if its just me but the plants look bigger already haha.

80 is a good emp when lights are on, however you shouldnt let the 'night' temps drop more than 10° from the daytime temperature.
Congrats on the hps! Try to keep the balast outsude of the room, it gets pretty hot so keep away from flammable stuff as well. Your girls will love the new red spectrum of light from the hps.

I'll have to check the temps when the light goes off. I keep the window open while its on to bring in cool air.
And thank you! I can't believe how much more area one HPS covers.
Will probably just sell the LEDs and get some T5s for vegging.

the plants have rooted thoroughly to the bottom. as growing tips hit the end, they die or begin to circle. Drooping in between waterings or before dark time is natural. They may respond well to tray flooding (instead of top watering) since most the growing tips are at the bottom of the pot. It will also let the plants that need more water soak it up faster than those that don't. Some Even layer perlite in the tray to allow the roots to drop down to drink from the tray.

looking good and green mate!

one more thing is that thrips and mites cause plants leaves to droop. Could be worth a closer look to make sure you are clean at this stage. are you spraying any oils/teas for prevention?

another thing could be fusarium. It is a soil fungus that causes plants to wilt. a natural solution is to throw seeds from 4 habanero's in a 5 gallon bucket of water over night. Use this water for your plants. It kills fusarium (as long as the seeds look healthy)

hope that helps

over or under watering also causes plants to droop.
I always wait until the soil is almost completely dry, usually by weight and then water until you see lots coming out of your drainage holes.

Thanks for all the info canna! Very helpful.
The plants aren't droopy anymore this morning, and when I noticed they were, the light was about to go off in about a hour. Although I had watered yesterday.
I also need to get some trays for the pots, as you can see I have them wrapped in plastic bags lol.

How would I go about checking for mites and thripes? I keep the tent clean tho, always wash my hands before entering and such. I have ordered some neem oil but don't have it yet.

Here is a picture of the plants today, do you think the light is close enough? Its at 24 inches from the tallest plant.

Hey guys, does this look like a nute problem or something else? I was looking in the grow bible I have and to me it either looks like a potassium or manganese deficiency but I'm not sure.
All the plants have at least 2 leafs that look like this, and the leafs feel very brittle.
