Kandy Kush, Grape Skunk & White Berry OH MY

Hello everyone, first time posting, long time lurker of this awesome website. This will be my first grow in about 5 years, so I have a lot to learn. I finally went ahead and got my medical card a few months back and have since started a grow. I had this thread in another sub forum but it wasn't getting much attention so I moved it here.

Currently the grow is in a 48"x48"x78" Earth Worth grow tent.

Growing clones that I received from a friend: 4 Grape Skunk, 5 White Berry and 3 Kandy Kush.

Started the clones under a 280W Blackstar LED ( yes I know these are not real wattage ) and are now under 3 280W Blackstar LED lights. Will be upgrading to a 600W HPS light when I start to flower. I have LST'd a few of these plants and left others alone, as I said this is my first grow in awhile so I'm just kinda testing the waters again.

Soil: Sunshine mix #4
Nutes: GH Floranova Grow, GH Rapidstart
Pots: 3 gallon

I know I don't have nearly enough nutes so I could use any advice on that, kinda want to stick with GH for now but not sure what to get. I also have to increase the ventilation, the temp stays around 83-85F but I know when those HPS go in its going to go way up. The tent runs pretty cool honestly.
Anyway, any advice helps at all. I've only grow with LED and CFL before so I'm not really sure how to set up the vents for the HPS yet. On to the pictures.

Just flipped the lights to 12/12 yesterday, everything is looking good I think. Couldn't wait any longer to flip haha, 600w HPS should be here in a couple days. Will 1 600w be enough for 12 plants?
Gave them a feeding of Floranova grow and bloom mixed as it said in the feeding schedule this morning. The new leafs on the plants are a bright green/yellow, is that normal? Will post pictures beneath.

Might be a tight squeeze in there in a few weeks!
Your plants look healthy and the bright green on the leaves happened to me as well when i flipped to 12/12.

Thanks for stopping in klemer. And yeah they will be pretty close together but I'll have some extra room once I get the boxes out that the plants are on.

Yeah I have LSTd the KK pretty good. After I get the 600w in the mail, I might decide to get another if they will both fit in the tent. If its too big, I might just keep the LEDs in there with the hps.

I topped a few of them, and just bent over a few more. I think like 4 I just left alone. And by prune do you mean remove the bottom leafs that are dying?

Thanks Ph. I have heard good things about the kandy kush so I'm excited to see how it will turn out.
If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. As of now I only have Floranova Bloom for flowering.

Things are looking good. That Flora Nova is a pretty complete 2 part. only thing i would add would be some sugar, and a pk booster for the back half. other than that kiss is the way to go.

Hey Greenlife. By back half do you mean the later part of flowering? How much sugar would I be adding per 1 gallon of water? And what do you mean by kiss is the way to go? Thanks for reply.

K.I.S.S = keep it simple stupid!!
yes back half as in from 4 weeks of flowering till end.
I use 5 mls per gallon for the first 4 weeks, and slowly raise it through the rest of flower to about 10-12 mls per gallon.
I use promix..basically the same as the sunshine mix.. All i use is bio bizz grow, bloom, topmax(pk booster) Sugar(sweet).

Plants look to be doing good. The new leafs on all the plants are still a bright green tho. Still unsure if thats a deficiency or not? Hard to tell exactly how it looks in the pictures. With the Floranova bloom, should I be watering once with that then once with water? Or is it OK to give them it two waterings in a row? Other than that, 600w will be here in two days. Can't wait to hook that up and see how things change. Temps are staying around 72-75 right now, its freezing outside tho.

im unfamilar with floranova, but when i water i do one time nutrients, then next time ph'd water. Works great for me.
The girls look happy though, they will love that hps when you hook it up. They do give off a lot of heat so make sure your ventilation will keep up with the hot HPS.
