Amazing sequence of shots Joesmoe. They really give me something to look forward to as I just took delivery of my first ever Kali seeds from Serious Seeds. I was stoked to find that the seeds came in a crush-proof vial, but I doubt if I'll ever order from Serious Seeds again because they make NO attempt to stealth-package the order. The vial of seeds dropped right out of the envelope, taped to a Serioius Seeds business card with a glossy color macro photo of some killer bud on the reverse side that left no doubt what those seeds would grow into.
Anywhoo my question is about how the seeds look. I've read that viable weed seeds should generally have a dark greenish color, but these Kali beans were mostly a very light brown or nearly beige color, and they were quite a bit smaller in size than most seeds I've ever seen. Does Kali Mist normally produce these much smaller light-colored seeds that would be considered non-viable seeds in other breeds, or is it possible that Serious Seeds goofed and actually did send me immature seeds that might not pop ?
Either way I live close to the 12/12 equator in a place where indoor grows are pretty much out of the question, so the beans went into their outdoor pots down in the swamp right away. While I keep my fingers crossed, I'd still be glad to hear an answer from Joeshmoe about whether or not those Kali bean I just planted will turn out ok despite how they look. Thanks
