Judge Selection for 2005?

Hey SupraTTHC...no worries mate...passes for both judges and attendees will be posted soon, I promise. There is alot of work and coordination taking place at the moment, and with folks who are all over the globe, so it takes a bit of time to get everything in a format to be posted. I want to make sure everything is etched in stone prior to posting any specific details, to do otherwise will just create confusion, and hey, most of us stoners are confused enough already..LOL..just a joke...

Being a judge at the event is quite a responsibility, as it is up to those who wish to participate in this manner who purchase a pass and become one who will be handed a sample of everything entered, both cannabis and hash, and sent forth to smoke it ALL and judge it ALL to the best of their ability. This year we are including other things in the passes for both judges and attendees, like entrance to certain events, or transportation to events outside of Amsterdam, etc.etc.etc.....what??? It is precisely these types of events that are being solidified at this moment and believe me, I know you are all eager for the information, but please be patient a bit longer, I will post an official thread as soon as possible with complete and full details.

Ummmm, and compromise the identity of attendees by sending live feed to babylon (as gypsy calls it ) to be picked up by all sorts of LEO and homeland security folks...nope, can't do it Bigmo. Is a good idea, in an ideal world, but given the current state of affairs regarding the illegality of cannabis in most places, member security is and always will be of top priority to this site and any event it presents.

No worries man, any car nut is a friend of mine. What gen supra do you have and what have you done to it? Im into tuning myself but I stick to VWs mostly. My bro has a celica and wants a supra TT...i dont think he is ready for it. Let a brother know.

Well judging last year was loads of fun and don't worry there is a lot of weed to go around. I was unable to finish all the weed I got to judge. I did sample all of it but we all had some tough moments

I dont see how everyone is bashing the fact that I am interested in how to obtain a pass to judge... most of this information is not out there. I did not ask to be in the spotlight, or to be the life of the party. I am not that outspoken myself either.. but if I am going to a weed festival I would like to be able to know if I can test the weed before I travel across the country to find out the detials of the cup. I never once asked for a FREE pass or anything like that.. I just asked when, where or if you can PURCHASE a pass thats all. This kind of feedback that I got on this question makes me not even want to go to the cup anymore I asked a friendly question and get smart ass answers.. this is the only thread on IC where I got treated like this... it reminds me of other forums.. E-attitude

if one does obtain a judges pass do they have to stay at the judging venue for the duration or will they be free to roam ?

what if a judge realises they cant possibly toke all the weed they have been given ?

what do the judges do with the weed at night ? take it back the hotel ?

presuming judges can take the weed away ,isnt it a bit risky to have so much weed in a foreign city on ya person?

1. no.....judges are free to roam and are not QUARANTINED to the venue..
2. If a judge can't toke all the weed......FIND A FRIEND!
3.Judges can do what they like with the weed at night(under pillow for cannabis fairy)......I dont know anyone that has been busted for a couple of ounces of weed in Amsterdam....ever.......as long as the judges don't try and sell the weed/hash on the street...(by the Febo!)......but even then it's unlikely at best......

Hazy don't worry you can hang with me i'll keep you safe and smoke all the weed you can't cuz well they can't smoke me under the table i can that for sure. But yeah only trouble i heard tourists get into with the politie is getting a ticket for smoking weed. Or a ticket if your riding your bike at night without a light or reflector. Remember to avoid riding in zones covered in diagonal yellow lines as these are areas in which you are required to walk your bikes. I had a Dutch cop yelling at me last year but I just told him I don't speak Dutch. Then he told me to walk in those areas and took off after Trichome Farmer who was leading me into the speed trap without warning so I ratted him out. BOG
