update: its wednesday and i chopped 4 more males, we have 12 plants left and two of which have fallen way behind, might give them the chop too but i guess 10 outta 20 isnt bad

the girls are lookin good if I say so myself! The males are all gone now...I hope. We have a few slow bloomers, but they are lookin like ladies. Down to 9 plants at this point, started at 21. Just for an idea of the size

Hashberry!


The one hashberry left(out of 5 ) is thick as hell and 1/2 as tall as the rest. She is at a little over 12 inches while the rest are hitting past 24"




We put some more work into the room....heres the new veg cab(not finished just yet, it will be 100% light sealed when done)

Just thought Id give an update....sad to say its some really shitty news.....weve got a ton of seed. I'm thinking that one of the males dumped be4 we caught it. Ive seached through the girls the best I can, but havent found any balls. The seeds are so widespread that I dont think it could have just been a hermi. The plants are doin f-ing amazing even though they using tons of energy to produce seeds. Not quiet sure what were going to do with it, might just buy some bubble bags and do the hash thing. Never had any before and it would be nice to not have to pick out tons of seed.


I think they would be growing even faster but the cups are holding them back. The roots are pushing out so hard on the cups that the cups have bulges from the hydroton. I'll have to pick up some net pots for the next round to see if there is a difference.

Might as well mention the different strains so far and what ive seen so I dont forget:

Mandala Hash Berry: In two words....FAT & SHORT, only one of these growing out unfortunately. This plant has remained 1/2 the height of everything else on the table, even when all the plants were fighting for light. Luckly it has its own corner of the table and plenty of light. Its the only single cola plant on the table, yet it hasnt stretched at all since veg.

Mandala Kalichakra: Wow, these were the runts, and now the dominate the table. I believe these are the most sensitive plants in this run. They showed nute burn on the tips of the leaves first, but seem to be loving it. These also have the most stretch on the table....they are directly under the light, but keep streching causing the light to be lifted.

Menage A'Trois: FREEBIE!!!! WOOT!!! Can you tell I like this one? This little girl grew up in the dark corner of the grow. I really expected it to stretch and turn out like shit....I was half right. It did stretch, but damn. It has the least green of all the plants and definetly has the greatest trich production so far. Next grow I'm putting one of these dead center under the light to see if the will keep it from stretching so much. I have to give a shout out to seedbay for hookin us up with this one!

OG(aka bagseed): I really expected these to be outperformend by the purchased genetics, but they are holding their own. If I ever grow outdoors it will be these babies. The side branching is amazing. The stalk thickest one is easily bigger than an inch in diameter, probably more like 1.25-1.5".

The clones in the above picture died unfortuantely.....but we set up the cloner better and all of the new clones have roots. After 2 weeks in the vermiculite wick cloner(same thing as abover with vermiculite instead of perlite) the clones have a nice rootball and pull out the vermiculite. The veg box is all set up, just need to connect the fill hose and fill up the res. They will be going into the box this weekend.

Well, got good news and bad news.
Good news: found the damn hermi! culled that shit about 5 seconds after i saw pollen falling out the buds. Never suspected it was one.
Bad news: Ive never seen this much seed before in my life. That hermi destroyed this grow, but there is hope, I'm revegin and have clones that are going into the veg box this week. Next, poppin the rest of seed pack 5 Hashberry and 5 Kalichakra and maybe a couple of our new seeds. I'm workin on getting a camera for tomorrow, so hopefully some pics comin.


Looks like we will be smokin some new years hash!

Yea dude I know what your sayin about with the cannabutter. I was hopin to make some new years cookies for santa, but it doesnt look like harvest is going to be in time.

This just sucks, I love to and was lookin forward to without having to dig around for seeds.

Well, picked up a new camera today Canon a570 IS. I know its just a point and shoot, but I've used a 550 before and loved it. Heres the first pic I took:

Friday I took all the clones and put them into the veg ebb/flow table with 1/3 strength nutes. They are below two 4 foot flouro bulbs burnin a 20/4 lightscheme.

Blaze just checked up on the clones about 10 minutes ago and they are not drooping, so hopefully they are liking the new veg box they are in now. The flower room is still packin on some more weight, even though its probably all seed. I'm guessing were gonna end up with about 50% seed weight and 50% dried weed.

The seeds are lookin just about ripe, so I have a feeling the chop is comin this weekend, if not be4. I'm getting tired of lookin at these colas full of seed.....i'm sure blaze is too.

Ahhhh, the smell of freshly chopped cannabis plants... stinks so good. The flowering room is clean of pollen and in order for the next batch. The veg cab is rollin with some clones and the mothers taken from this grow. The clones have begun to droop and color alittle. We think that the first clones did so well due to the humidity in "the box" so Meow has been spraying clear domes from seed trays and keeping them atop the clones we have now, seems to be helpful. Just a few more things need accomplished and the next journal will begin (ie. clean the veg res). Meow, we should post a smoke report to give mandala seeds some props, even though we ****ed up and didnt catch the hermi their shit was still the BOMB!
