After several months off we have decided to start again. Hydro Epp&Flo, engineered by Meow. This time around we are poppin some Mandala seeds; Hash Berry, Kalichakra and Menage A'Trois to be exact; plus we also brought back our OG Bagsizzle from the first round

This is at about two weeks

Feels so good to be back in the game

looking good. along for the ride on this one. the og bagsizzle, just some dank ass bagseed or?
Thanks for joining us :headbange We refer to it as "OG" cuz its the original gangster that we first grew, wasnt anything special when we collected the beaners but damn did we make it special

yea the og bagsizzle is just some bag seed we grew for the first round. It turned out great for our first grow ever. Would have been even better the second round, but we had to shut it down due to some extreminating circumstances... :fsu:

But now were back, and trying out some hydro....which so far has just made my jaw drop. That pic is after 2 weeks, but in those 2 weeks they have been transpalnted from soil to rockwool cubes, which we forgot to ph balance...so after they rooted in the cubes had to basically rip them off along with some of the roots....doh. We took our time tearing apart the cubes so it wasnt too bad. I know its bad touching the roots and all that, but I think having the res ph shoot up over 8 everytime it floods and drains is worse. The bagseed we had seemed to like the high ph, but now that its under 7 the Hashberry, Kalichakra and Menage A'Trois seem to be kickin into gear.

Oh the setup is a flood/drain table basically with 4 long airstones in the bottom. When the table fills, the airstones pump. Seems to work great so far. Its flooding every 2 hours for 15 min. Right now it only has four 4 fourty watt flouros above it, gonn be switching that to either the 400watt mh we have or adding another 2 flouro tubes.....I think the 6 fourty watters should be plenty, only gonna veg for a month.

One shot of the og bag for ya...makes me wonder how the second round with the 600hps instead of the little 400 mh would have turned out :badday:

let us know what you think

:bigeye: thats what i was hoping to see! :jump: Were going to have to get the buckets assembled this weekend, they are already starting to fight for light on the table. Throw half them in the buckets and start them on 12/12 to sex em....then take clones of the fems and murder the males. :bashhead:

Damn it doesnt even seem like its been 3 weeks.

Correct me if I'm wrong Blaze, but the whole back row is the OG baggie, the front right is the Hashberry(5), the three front left are Menage A'Trois(freebie!) and the three front center are Kalichakra. The Kalichakra fell a little behind in week 2, but now it looks to be about even for all of them. Cant wait to see what happens in flower, hopefully the different strains wont provide too much of a problem.

They are sitting at about 1000ppm, ph was 6.9(finally starting to stop rising from the small amt of rockwool left in the system :nono: never again) The humidity is still very high....exaust fan isnt working right now, but that will be fixed friday. Temps are just about right. This is all being done with no dehumidifier, heater/ac, or water chiller. :muahaha: It will be interesting to see what happens when the 600hps starts burning.

well....talk about a shitty weekend. First the ebb/flow system started leaking bad. Next the bucket dwc(pictured below) system we made to replace the ebb and flo leaked fairly bad. :fsu:

So now the plants are moved into a completely new ebb flo table, which was made in a mad rush. So I'm not sure how they are going to like it. The old table drained faster, and had a little less standing water in it.(this one has a about 1/4 inch, the old had 2 troughs that held 1/4 inch each but were much smaller) They are under a 600 hps now at least.....still all cramped together and now there is a better air exhaust. Switched on 12/12 to get them into flower.

They were out of the tables for a long time yesterday, but I hand dipped them into the res to give them a watering during time outside of the table.

Heres what we spent all weekend making, we MIGHT still be able to use it, just have to go over it a couple more times for leaks and re-calk some parts.

No pictures of the girls this week.....they looked too sad to take pictures of right now.

Well the lights just turned on and the table should be rising with water right about now...too bad I cant check on the girls right now. So instead I'm just surfin the forum enjoyin everyone elses work.

I promise a LARGE update next weekend. Hopefully the majority of them should be showin sex so we can murder the males. Then the girls can have some camera time and get some individual photos. Right now I'm just praying we pull at least 1 female from each strain, we have 3 of each so the odds are in our favor, but luck is a bitch sometimes. I just want some nice milfs for the future....oh ahhh i mean moms.

Anyhow since there doesnt seem to be much traffic in here other than me and blaze, I might as well ask a question:

If a parent of a seed is a hermi, is that a trait that is likely to be passed down the the seed? We have the "OG" bagseed growin along with the purchased strains, and I'm worried it might hermi and polinate the other girls.(one of them must have last grow, but they went through hell aka 110+ degree temps early on) On the other hand I'm kind of curious to see how a cross would turn out. But I wouldnt want the new seed to tend to hermi. Either way I'm going to take a couple clones off the best males there are to play around with some breeding.

If anyones out there, sit down, take a rest, smoke a bowl or three with us! :lurk:

Hey guys thanks for stoppin in....those pics just dont do the plants justice. They were over 12 hours in light and ready to go to bed, but we had to get a little more work done in the room be4 closing it up.(I know its not good at all, but it had to be done)

a little info on the new flower room:
2'x4' resivor that is 8" tall and lined with 22 mil pond liner
the container for the plants is just one of those rubbermaid under bed storage conatiners with the lid removed and replaced with some white fiber wall board
flooding 5 times during the day and 2 times at night.....does that sound good? most of the roots are staying moist because of the 1/8"-1/4" of water that stays in the bottom of the tray.

Next we have to take that veg area posted earlier and build a box to enclose it.(since its in the same room as the flower chamber) It will be 2'x4' also and about 26" high under the lights. It will be lit with either 4 or 6 4' flouro bulbs(want to see how bright it will be and heat issues) and maybe a couple compact ones too. It will house a veg tray; about 6"x6"x48", and should also have plenty of room for the moms too, since they will be bonsi moms. We will be keeping probably 4 moms, one of each

ph is 6.5 and the ppm should be right around 1200 or so....temps a little low, but that should be fixed soon
