I see I still have a stone in my shoe.

I asked him for common respectful treatment and he could not be bothered to hinder his ego.

This amuses me, and I hope he never matures.

Every “gender reassignment” procedure sterilizes the patient.

So if you want to wear a dress you would quit spawning brownshirts?

To address gender issues, I'd suggest a policy of it's your body, you do what you like and live with the consequences, whether they are good or bad. Value is subjective.

People who don't like what other's do with their own bodies can disapprove but not intervene. "I wouldn't do that with my body, but their body is not my body". The corollary is disinterested disapproving people should not be forced to subsidize others choices. That is how you maintain equality of choice.

If a person doesn't believe in the above, they can't really believe that other people own themselves.
By extension they may even believe they don't even own themselves, which is a little sad.

For instance, if a person DOES believe all people should have equal rights regarding their own bodies and they violate that with other people, they give license for the same thing to happen to them under different circumstances.

If they don't believe people should all have equal rights concerning their own bodies, they should stop complaining and simply accept what other people do to them or what other people prevent them from doing to themselves. The foregoing is in line with their beliefs that people don't have equal rights concerning their own bodies.

Careful what you wish for when you try to control others bodies.

actual free market competition.
you do know that there are already private schools, right? just not tax-payer funded ones?
code word for "undercut public schools"
:good: they don't WANT everyone to actually be educated. too dangerous...
School choice must include more than government "allowed" choices or it's silly to call it choice.
the govt does not stop people from opening a private/religious school using THEIR money. not here, anyway. no idea where you are...
Is "tds" the ability to recognize and call out fascism?
quite obviously so!

too many self-service stations for that to be of any practical use. i don't know of ANY stations here now that are NOT self-service. last one shut down over a year ago... and they didn't offer diesel anyway.

I think NJ and Oregon have (had?) a silly law only the gas station attendants could put gas in your car.

I was a little astonished many years ago, driving thru NJ when a guy stopped me, like I didn't know how to put gas in my own vehicle.

If you shop at grocery store X, and never use grocery store Y, would you want to pay a demand for payment or face losing your home if you failed to pay grocery store Y?

I'm sorry the simple analogy went over your head. I'll try to dumb things down for you. :)

Under any normal circumstance involving non-government services, charging a person for a service or product they never asked for is ludicrous and robbery.

For instance a given grocery store doesn't charge you if you don't use their services or buy their products do they? You'd tell them to fuck off if they did. Or you should.

When government charges people for a so-called service, "education", which a given person doesn't use and didn't ask for, some people think it's okay for them to send you a bill. That's still ludicrous and robbery.

If you disagree, it's evidence of having a dual belief system. One set of rules for non-government business / trade and another set of rules when it involves so-called government services.

Also because of this fuckery, many people that might send their kids to private schools don't, because they know the overlord government fuckers will steal their house if they don't pay them and that leaves little $$ for them to then pay for a nongovernment school that they prefer.

So yeah tell me about the phony "school choice" that lets you shop at another school, but still ensures you pay the mafia government .

What about the poor kids that don't want to go to a government school. Are you okay if their parents force you to pay for their "school choice" ? I doubt it.

Since government is a coercive entity and uses force to get what it wants, are you saying we need more things that use coercion and use force to get what they want?

Also the crushing debt etc are the result of government and it's force based policies.
More gasoline for your fire sir ?

It's also possible to have people with different ideologies living peacefully along-side one another as long as they agree to stop acting like governments do...using offensive force to get what they want.

Statist claim: People Are Bad (so government is necessary.)

Fallacy:

"People are bad, so we need government to protect us!"

Response:

And just what do you propose to make up this government with? That's right, people … but people are bad. And sadly, nobody's come up with a way to pick the virtuous from the evil yet, and history shows a lot of evil perpetuated by governments. I'm talking about mass murder of millions here, not exceeding some arbitrary speed limit. (DR)

Actually, government amplifies the evil of bad people. It increases their power. In the hierarchy of government, the psychopaths, warmongers, looters, and power freaks tend to get the most powerful roles. In government, the scum rises to the top. [HB]
