What I do know. Under Chump. Many corporations had their best years ever. And when it came down to helping the people vs. helping corporations during the pandemic. It was the richest people in the country who made the most. How many small businesses failed and how many people lost their homes? Right now Biden is picking up after the mess he was left with. I'm sure many of his decisions are not the best. Unlike out last president where all his decisions are the worst.
My honest opinion. It is greed on the parts of almost everyone in a position that allows for it. Until the billionaire class is put in check it will only get worse. Under either douchebag. If they see you have extra money they will charge you more for your next transaction.
Solution. Create sustainable community not relying on paying a greedy anyone. Don't work for them. Work for yourself and community. Do not shop with them. Buy local from someone who will reinvest in the community.
Trump's worst part of his tax breaks don't even come due until 2025.

It has nothing to do with how much. It's how they got there. What regulations did they lobby against? Did they pay taxes? Are they improving life for anyone other than themselves?
