Indeed...like catcthing covid whilst waiting in line for a test....

I’ve seen recent long lines for omicron testing and thought to myself, that there is a super spreader event! Reminded me of the chickenpox parties our parents put together when i was a kid.

Negative test for covid positive healthcare workers prior to returning may be a start.
Seems like an easy call,if we are talking science.

But I'm not a lawyer,so I'm not sure where negligence would begin on employing positive staff at this point in time,hope I dont have a fresh transplant on Wednesday.

i don't think that going to the 5 day wait is a good idea, i'm not arguing with you on that. that is obviously a political decision, not a scientific one. plus, i don't GAF how you take my take. i'll side with science, imperfect as it is.

Ditto I dont give a fuck what you are told,so why respond to me if you're in agreement that a 5 day return policy is political.
When I look to my left or right come Thursday and see you behind PPE, I' would GAF what you think.

I thought you worked ED, didn’t know you worked ICU as well. I’ve always had respect for you as I do all nurses, but it just went up 1000%.

Right out of school I was trained for 1 year under preceptors in the RICU,,SICU,and TICU.

But I've worked in Ortho,Med Surg,a Neuro icu,and inpatient detox. But then again on days off I work at SNF's,and alzheimers units.I try and be able to help anyone.Never cared for the OR,i spent days observing surgery's from behind the glass,and realized it wasnt for me.And I've always gotten a full dose of psych working in the ED....lol

She caught covid because those around her weren’t wearing a mask.

And to be fair, omicron is so frickin contagious, i’d be willing to bet that masks offer little protection against omicron anyways.
Since she’s been vaccinated, i bet she will be fine.

Who knows, but considering it takes around three days to become infected, probably not too many, if any?
I am more curious how many people you infect when you go out in public without your mask?
How many died or were hospitalized as a result of your outings?
