I will get shit for this, but I would rather Bernie than Biden. Give me change, fuck more of the same bullshit. I'm no socialist, I would bank on Congress not going along with Bernie, but at least somebody would be fighting against the swamp and for the people.
bernie was basically the compromise to socialism even though he incorrectly called himself one.
now you have actual democratic socialist movements with ideas to the left of bernie cropping up for a few reasons but partly because of 2020, the democratic party refuses to change and because Trump and his crew are on some fashie shit.
