Trump helping Putin do shit that no one in there right mind would concerns me. Im all for getting our troops home but if that makes our country weak they need to figure out how to do that while keeping our country strong. Trump isn't equipped to know when he is being played like drum.

it’s concerning that we’re at a point where each side views the other as being in a cult or brainwashed..

everyone thinks they’re so smart yet can’t understand there’s bigger things at play here. America was bought and sold a long time ago.

But yes keep bickering your bullshit amongst each other instead of actually going after the people silently fucking our country from the inside out..

if any of you fucking goobers directed that hate where it’s deserved maybe we could get some shit done

But no, keep backing up your bullshit ideals with skewed and biased statistics and only watch and see things that support your views because of the way algorithms work now.. go deeper into your spiral of crazy bullshit

Imagine that rather than developing organically, this division has been orchestrated. Who would benefit? Divide and Conquer has long been a recognised strategy, we should therefore consider that an enemy state may benefit. Diversion is also a well known strategy. Perhaps there are powerful elites pulling the strings in the US that benefit by keeping the populace fighting amongst themselves and ignoring the status quo? Both possibilites. I can't think of a situation arising where it’s 'the people' who benefit from this. Open to suggestions.

The seeds of TDS keep giving and giving. :plant grow:

There something way wrong when you use cannabis related memes when talking about Trump. What I was referring to our the inaction's people like you take in the name of Trumpism. Your actions speak loudly that only Trump matters in your world.

Interesting to see Biden's thinking of placing Hillary Clinton as the ambassador to the UN. Each of your sides can take that as you want, I personally just find it interesting and somewhat par for the course.

Elections and Voting

Election 2020

When it comes to trade, either we're going to write the rules of the road for the world or China is – and not in a way that advances our values. That's what happened when we backed out of TPP – we put China in the driver's seat. That's not good for our national security or for our workers. TPP wasn’t perfect but the idea behind it was a good one: to unite countries around high standards for workers, the environment, intellectual property, and transparency, and use our collective weight to curb China’s excesses. Going forward, my focus will be on rallying our friends in both Asia and Europe in setting the rules of the road for the 21st century and joining us to get tough on China and its trade and technology abuses. That’s much more effective than President Trump’s so-called America First approach that in practice is America Alone, alienating our allies and undermining the power of our collective leverage. My trade policy will also start at home, by investing in strengthening our greatest asset—our middle class. I would not sign any new trade deal until we have made major investments in our workers and infrastructure. Nor would I sign a deal that does not include representatives for labor and the environment at the negotiating table and strong protections for our workers.

Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP)(formerly, the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP)).

Joe Biden believes multilateral trade deals are key to curbing China's trade practices but his support for the TPP has evolved and he now says parts of the agreement need to be renegotiated, In 2016, then-Vice President Joe Biden tried to build enough congressional support to ratify the TPP. Biden also penned an op-ed urging the next administration to prioritize TPP, arguing the agreement contained strong provisions for workers' rights, the environment, and intellectual property.
As a 2020 candidate, Biden said parts of the TPP/CPTPP would have to be renegotiated before he would join the agreement, although he did not specify which parts would need to be renegotiated.
In response to a Council on Foreign Relations 2020 candidates' questionnaire, Biden provided more detail, saying although the TPP was not perfect, he supports the idea to "unite countries around high standards for workers, the environment, intellectual property, and transparency," and that we should "use our collective weight to curb China's excesses."

Biden's commitment to multilateral trade agreements demonstrates one of the biggest contrasts between a 2020 Democratic presidential candidate and President Trump's trade policies. One of President Trump's first acts in office was to issue a presidential memorandum withdrawing the United States from the TPP negotiations and agreement.
The memorandum notes the Trump Administration's intent "to deal directly with individual countries on a one-on-one (or bilateral) basis in negotiating future trade deals."
Diametrically opposed to this position, Biden has said that we need to work with our allies to collectively curb China's trade practices through multilateral trade agreements. We would expect a Biden Administration to work to join the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP), with a focus on workers' rights, the environment, and intellectual property. In addition, we would expect the CPTPP to play a large role in a Biden Administration's approach to China.

President-elect Joe Biden, when asked on Monday whether the U.S. should join RCEP, said his country needs to be aligned with other democracies so that “we can set the rules of the road instead of having China and others dictate outcomes because they are the only game in town,” reported Nikkei Asia.

According to the report, he stopped short of committing to join RCEP or the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) — an updated version of the TPP that the remaining 11 countries renegotiated after the U.S. left unilaterally. But he reportedly said he has a “pretty thorough plan” to announce in January, reported Nikkei.

Tommy Tuberville, Republican of Alabama, misidentified the three branches of the federal government and claimed erroneously that World War II was a battle against socialism, in his first big interview as a senator-elect.

Way to go Tommy.

- Gareth Jones, an ambitious Welsh journalist, travelled to the Soviet Union in 1933 and uncovered the appalling truth behind the Soviet "utopia". His quest quickly turned into a life-or-death journey… helping inspire Orwell’s Animal Farm.
