Interesting. Have you done a DIY controller box on here? I can't recall every seeing one. I would like to build one.

Looks like they do chap. If you don't have an electrical supply shop nearby u can just amazon one to your door.

I did foresee myself going over to 240 by the end of the year and ran an extra #6 AWG with the 2 strands of #6 to the room. It's tucked neatly in the ceiling, all I have to do is cut a hole to get it. I'm good at drywall, so it doesn't bother me to do it. It would bug me that there's a dead wire just hanging around.
Those single strands of #6 aren't in flex or conduit?
Very nice, did you find that mounting hardware that is hanging from the uni strut at the depot or lowes? or did you modify pieces designed for something else. If you bought them, what department would I find them in? My use of uni strut is not as nice as yours, thanks for those pics.
