Day 23 veg. All have now been topped and have yet to give any feed. Top of the plants are getting about 600-700 ppfd.

Day 30 veg. All of the ladies are looking green and healthy. I gave them all a preventative shot of Calimagic with their watering today and they have now been topped twice. I don’t see them wanting for anything so I have yet to give them any Athena nutrients. I’m thinking I’ll flip to 12/12 in the next week or two.

Day 3 flower for these ladies…I flipped them on June 25th. I’ve started to give them some Athena Nutrients and also some Calimagic with each watering. One plant was showing some Mag deficiency but seems to be coming out of it. I think it was one of the Punch & Cookies if I remember correctly.

So I left for vacation with the family on Saturday, July 6th and just got back to take a picture yesterday. I had a friend take care of the ladies for the week and she did a great job. The stretch is hopefully about done as they are just shy of 3 weeks flower. No obvious health problems that I can see. I’ll be working to get some defoliation done in the coming days. Getting a bit too leafy for my liking.

As intended, I did a little defoliation the past few days. I left a little more leaf than I have in the past but they are all looking much better. Some nice early bud sites are starting to fill and frost up a bit. Still using a little Calimagic with every watering and given how nice they are looking, I’m gonna continue that practice.

There's not much to say when everything is perfect and you can just click on like to show your appreciation

Thanks for the kind words everyone. I just love growing and having plenty of supply for myself, family and friends. If my posts can help someone avoid a mistake I made, that just helps put more quality weed and good positive energy out into the world. It’s a win win as far as I’m concerned.

I keep it pretty simple. I’ve tried different media, different nutrients, different size pots, different methods of defoliation, different lights, different curing techniques. I’ve pretty much settled into what works for me and what honestly could work for anyone. I could do some trellising. I just like having the ability to move my plants around. I could set up some automated feeding. I just like the simplicity of hand watering.

Just an FYI; those NL2 x Chem x Og (original, not Orange)Pink Grapefruit were made by Skunk man Sam. They were given as freebies for a few years. I'm guessing RGS bought the remaining stock. I've heard it herms heavily. I have a couple packs that I will probably never run.

RGS called it Orange Pink Grapefruit in their original description. They still have OPG and still call it Orange. Are they incorrect?

I guess I can't say for certain. I've never heard of that strain, but that doesn't mean much with new strain names popping daily.

I think today marks 47 days of 12/12 for these ladies. I can’t tell, with my poor nose, which plants stink to high heaven but damn the flower room is smelling good!

We’re getting there folks. Tomorrow marks 8 weeks of 12/12. Still a bit to go…some amber but very little.

I should mention that I switched to Athena’s Fade in place of the Core a few waterings ago. The darker flowers are the Purple Sunset. Very nice color on those!

60 days of 12/12 for this Sour Diesel from Humboldt Seed Company. I am traveling this coming week Thursday - Sunday and was debating harvesting before I left but I’m thinking these need some more time. I’ll take a close look at tricomes on Wednesday and make a decision.
