 Jenna. What a happy day indeed! I love the smoke report too :pimp3:

Was the Lil Karma hard to get light evenly since those buds were so heavy? The Hawaiian Goddess looks manageable while the Lil Karma looked like more work. Awesome in every way though! :jump:

Lil Karma got very even light coverage due to the fact that she quite spread out and alot shorter than she was wide. The only time we got any real yellowing is because she hasn't been feed nitrogen for about the last six weeks.

I really like the Hawaiian Goddess. She is still curing and I am trying to limit my use so there is more left at the end of the cure THIS TIME. I think I get caught in some kind of cure vortex when I rush.. each time its a little different stone and eventually it evens out... and then is really really really good but I don't have much left.... ughhhh Anyhow, from what I have sampled, she is fantastic and that's with a real short cure of about a week...then next time I sampled her she was last night at about 3 weeks (give or take a few days) and wow, what a great stone for me. I was so relaxed and chatty.. we giggled for a long time....the potency is building. Anyhow she was so kewl to grow too. I love the plants that frost.. it just amazes me to see the frost creep down the leaves. She just kept going and they were so dense! The aroma appealed to me big time cuz it was not overpowering but the hint got ya. kinda like when you are in an elevator with one other person and its not till after they leave you notice a hint of really nice fragrance in the air... then ya think, man, i woulda looked at the person if i had known they smelled so good!

Thanks for the posts Cheeba and resinryder. I think dandaweedman and i going each grow out one strain. It works best for our partnership when we each grow our own to retain some individuality cuz we are stubborn opinionated ppl for the most part! it really challenges me still to know i am 100% responsible for learning on my own, and for keeping my plants alive. we talk about mj ALOT but its nice when each of us can bring something different to the table. I am still real new at this but its a hoot! I am still researching the strains so i can have a bit of background on each before dano and i talk about who is gonna grow what. Thanks resinryder for the advice on LUI! Dano is being patient with me cuz i am so much slower than him at the research stuff.. i get distracted and go look at hydro systems, drop into chat, and stop at a couple other forums :sasmokin: It's all part of my charm i tell ya! LOL Anyway, then dano says well i'm ready to germ and I hit everywhere i can think of to research the strains. Then we talk about them and their upcomin grows and decide who is gonna do what. it just kinda works for us. (WAY WAY better than when he said a couple years ago I'm gonna grow pot.. my response: are you out of your fucking mind?) who knew? LOL

Man, this WW is awesome!

hiya sleepy, thc  This hobby is becoming an obsession i think. :yoinks: Dano is gonna germ the LUI once the KQ has moved along its life cycle a bit more. (probably a day rofl) Anyway, before I germed the nl x early misty, I did something unheard of in the woman's handbook and changed my mind. I was like a kid in a candy store going through the list of seeds and thoughts of strawberry blonde x c-99 came dancing into my head. That was a real upbeat herb for me so... I just gotta germ that but I saw that pic of the black russians that natefrog took, man, what a beauty. I think the room needs a dash of color so I gotta germ that too. These are f3's.

From what I've read the black russian has two phenos.. a sativa dom and then the indica dom. Flowering times? flying by the seat of my pants but I am counting on the plants to tell me. There is also a non-purple pheno too I think but its rare? Anyhow, they are just so darn purdy I gotta try growing them out.

I look forward to the pics THC. Mine just kept growin and growin.. i think I started bending mine when they were about 34 inches? Dano teased me about the vine i was growing! Good luck with them!

Hiya 1toke; Glad you stopped by! Your garden is sure lookin lovely!

I germed 4 strawberry blonde x c-99 (Mota). Dano grew out this cross before and its one of my favorites. I also germed 4 Black Russian F3's from a friend's brother's friend's cousin.. (ok.. I have no idea where they came from but they were in the tickle trunk so fair game right? lol) I thought it would be a kick to grow purple pot! I've read the purple strains aren't necessarily the strongest but I'm ok with that. I am practicing to practice moderation soon.

I potted them on the 13th. Probably could have been the 12th on the sb x c99 i think but I was careful planting them. I just used our regular mix (55% peat, 45% perilite, and about 5% bonemeal) and watered them with molasses and water.. thinking that the molasses will feed the microbes in the soil and molasses in the water isn't strong enough to burn my plants.. well,..hasn't so far anyhow...Seems to me molasses is like 3-1-5 or something. This morning they were all up so .. so far .. so good. I think I will start alfalfa tea in about 2 weeks time... give or take..

I am hoping to get some input.

Do you generally increase your nitrogen in the first half of flower?

hiya 2buds... thank you!

I have a new grow going and ughhh... one of my seedlings died... (a black russian) Poor little thing should have been watered a day before.. I was on the edge.... not wanting to overwater and figured i would wait till morning to check them.. but then life happened in the morning, the floor had to be washed due to an overnight puppy poop-fest, the straightener wouldn't straighten the eldest's hair for school (oh the tragedy of it all ). I stepped in to help when she plugged in the clothes iron (she actually uses that in a pinch and has burnt her HEAD before).. and then I raced off to work.. thought about my babies ALL day and came home to see my littliest black russian seedling in its death throes... buriel at sea.. then I watered the rest and poked myself in the eye for punishment.

We harvested a couple Rosetta Stones now..Great strain to grow out....thanks Motarebel! The pics are of the first rosetta stone we harvested. It was 55 days in flower and OHMYGAWD.. amber trichs.. lots of them.. so kewl!
She was so frosty we decided to give re-vegging a try...hopefully there is enough green there?

We definately need bubblebags.. else I am gonna have to start stuffin pillow cases.

Dano took the pics.. I did the trimming...

Thanks Dociron. I think you are just gonna have to come here with your bags and show us how its done  .Wow, your Angeldust is sure lookin fetching!

I'll get a pic up of the babies today. I am gonna veg these girls with molasses, about 3 feeds of alfalfa, and a dash of potassium nitrate (derivative of potash) and bat guano (phosperous for da stem strength) just before I flip em to flower. Every second or third water I'll nute. That's my loose plan...but the plants are gonna decide if it fits them. I was considering keepin this in the lil red cups till they show sex but man.. you gotta be right on top of them cuz def's show quick in a cup.. I'll probably end veg in one gallons and pot them up to 3 gallons when they are ready for flower.

Course when they turn brown and beg for mercy, I'll be posting for advice from the experts :yoinks:

I don't have any bubble bags,, I was just lookin' fer some free smoke!!! :bat:

As far as the "AngelDust"? The Growdoc did some nice work there, I just grew it. The bed style grow is amazing,, what you saw was 2 square feet of grow space,
my grow will yeild about 1.5 oz. per square foot, under fluorescents. :yoinks:
"issack", "Growdoc", "Soma",, and a few others are showing amazing results
with this method. But that's a story for some other thread,,
Babe? You and Dano make me jealous!!! Really......

You take care kiddo,, stay safe..... hyp/doc ;)

Growdoc's dabomb Hypno. i love watchin his grows.. too kewl.

I have a few pictures of my latest germs to share. I germed them on the 10th and am planning on potting them into 1 gallons today or tomorrow.

Then.. the 16th of January

and now.. well, yesterday

They've been fed a diet of molasses and water. When I pot them up, I intend on using some Myke. (We have the dry stuff so I just sprinkle it on top of the awaiting soil and put the little darlins right on top of it.) I'll start the alfalfa shortly after the transplant into 1 gals. so far so good I think.. cept for the one I MURDERED! haha

Have a great weekend ppl!

hey Teresa.. glad to see you.. Did you notice the leaves on them? Do you think I maybe overdid a bit with the molasses? I've heard the black russian isn't the strongest herb but it will give a nice bit of variety I think.. plus.. I love purple! If they don't go purple, I'll paint the suckers! thanks for stopping in!
