Yea i agree with mossy, i thought it was gonna be slight coloring, but once i started trimming i saw alot of purple and slight purple/pink def. a BEAUTIFUL Strain!

Indeed, i mean i have waited 8 weeks to cut her and then when i get to cut her i still have to wait. rather aggravating but if the saying holds true good things come to those who wait

Love the cut down photos..that head bud has to be some weight on it's own..

Did you check her for colour..I'd be surprised if she doesn't carry some pink or purple on the bottom of the calyxs.

and that head bud is hefty, She has one main solid bud and 4 golf ball sized ones around her. I figure she'll come close to almost a half oz dry. This bud is that dense.

As far as the color goes i saw some slight purple tints here and there but more white than anything on the underside. This only really showed on the main buds under skirt. So i was impressed

Gotta say..you read her just perfect.
I normally find that it takes growers a couple of tries with AF's before they get to know them well..especially if they are used to growing long-season girls.

I couldn't have got the results you have in that sized pot..
so I take my hat off to you..

I think he deserved it..do you think he will have a shot..
or will he just put it away and forget about it.

BUT...
have you looked at your children and worked their genetics out..
see if they are mom dominant..dad dominant..or crosses...

Most people think they could not make a good cross because they know nothing about genetic inheritence..
But..
most people look at a kid..and say..
oh he looks just like his dad...or his mom..
or he has his moms eyes and his dads sticky out ears..
they are making genetic assumptions/recognition..
Plants are no different.

so really they are.."like children"

You hit the nail on the head. Its a 1 gal 3.78l 6"pot. That was her final resting place.

I am totally down for this, it would be fun to see what would come of all the contestants. I would even like to see if i can beat my self . I like a challenge.

So we gonna start a new thread for this?

I hope so. I am going to try a few new things now that i have a few extra strains. I have a feeling this blue hash is going to be a mother to a few crosses I think some LST will be in order so i have more places to Pollinate

I have to agree here. I mean i know i picked my wife on a few selected traits so i guess were all guilty. Guess i picked a good one too. We have very few things we dis agree on so i got a little lucky.

I have to agree with you here and the funny thing is he is over 40 He deff deserved a shot too. He takes care of my ladies when i have to travel for work, and when i visit my fam. Hes a good guy all around and he also helps raise/seperate my males till pollen time.

Well guys i figured it was time for an update. as of last night the stems snapped them so i jarred them. As i cleaned up the stems and cut into buds i got a total weight of 42.9 grams as i was placing them in the jar's. I know that i may loose a few more grams during the cure but I am totally impressed with the results.

And the part that you all were waiting for. Smoke report. This was just as pleasing to smoke as it was to grow. she has a sweet spiced taste to her that really hits the tongue on the exhale. I just can describe how hard this hit my taste buds loved every second of it. The high is on point. It has a strong onset straight to the head. Extreme head stone at first and then it rides there for about 20 or 30 min and then as you come down it settles in the body nice. Good numbing/relaxing effect all in all. This is some stout stuff mossy and am truly impressed with my results. Cant wait to get these others in the ground after vacation. As of now the high lasted a few hours for me, I can only imagine the flavor and effect getting better after this cure process.

You're not the only one who had the jaw dropping moment i too about had a fit when i added the numbers. The main bud came in at 15.7 g's and the two main side branches both came in at 9 and some change a piece, including the one that was given to a friend. So those three main heads on her were dense!

rest of her weight came in on the other side branches and the random ass bud spots that i found as i cut into her.

I wanted the JEM yield calibrated..so with a little care and attention..a moderate grower could get a straight ounce dry out of 1in a 20 ltr pot..on good outdoor conditions.

I had that @ F4 on her.

I know that I can get over 30 g's out of her..and my m8 outgrows me everytime in hydro..
But..that is in big volume pots.

I never thought it was possible to pull something that big out of a 6 inch pot.

I can see this done easy, you have done well on the genetics. I may have to try a 20ltr pot out doors and see what i can get as i dont have the height room i do not believe to do that indoor, id have to LST it or something.

Hydro will do that though, seems to be the nature of the beast. I have done hydro grows before, just so high maintenance sometimes. Plus id much rather grow in soil.

Why thank you sir i appreciate that! I really enjoyed growing this plant and she apparently loved how i cared for her. I am about to take a small vacation to the beach and when i get back. Ill be cracking again!

Well guys i only lost about 2-3 grams in total during the cure process. Not bad i am impressed, even more so with the smoke. The chlorophyll smell is gone and all i have is the nice smell of dank mixed with a nice floral spice. The taste and the smoke power have increased, this stuff is dangerous in a blunt.

Took it for a good test to a few friends who are as just as knowledgeable in this world as i am and they were floored. None of them grow but all partake lol.

The high is strong in the head at first. The taste is on exhale and coats your tongue. Then after you finish your method the high begins to move. As it starts to leave the head there is a nice body rush that lasts for about an hour. All in all i had a good buzz for 2+ hrs.

I cant wait to start a few more of these as well a a few others i now have possession of.


Last but not least. I want to thank all of you for following this as well as all the input and support. I hope to see you all in my next attempt at this.

I was quite excited when i read this post because this is the way I explain the genetics to my father. He is very interested in making a big auto(it will take 85-90 days to finish but that is worth it) but he just can't grasp the all the genetics stuff. He is a old time haze & skunk grower, I have told him about ppl like you that are genetic pro's and he is inspired to try his knowledge with autos. Anyhow this rant is all about praise to you and ppl like you Mossy that put their souls into their work to share it with others.
