Nice rehash of old talking points. Now, show me the money (aka evidence). If Trump is despised by most of the world (as proffered by dems and MSM)--then why hasn't someone leaked proof of this ALLEGED "Russian collusion"? If it exists--you can bet your bippy that it would have been all over the front pages of New York Times by now

My guess to your first paragraph would be that he's possibly so disliked that maybe they would rather not mess with their chances of getting him in front of a firing squad? IDK but I'd be pissed if they had evidence of coursion and leaked it! It's worth too much. How much is it worth? More than a headline could provide.

I'd be pissed, Not because I got it out for Trump but because the punishment needs to be gnarley so that hopefully people could someday believe in the government again.

If you can't trust men to be honest, you can keep'em honest by making it not worth being dishonest.

I'm not a democrat or a republican. Im just a fkn criminal that can see the angles, just like that kid saw dead people. I can't make it stop either! So please, can you help me.. can you make it stop....I'm scared! haha

Take that weak shit they tried to pull with Nunez! That was so damn sad its embarrassing. He said whistleblowers, then it was high ranking officials, until the truth came out that they were just some aids, who you know didn't discover anything so much as they were told to show Nunez the original transcripts.

The same transcripts that started the rumors that got Trump to panic and decide to tweet that BULLSHIT Saturday morn!

The same transcripts that showed a Russian was under surveillance and that either someone from Trumps hotel had inadvertently been caught speaking to or it might also have be someone from Trumps campaign. It might only have been that Trumps name was mentioned.

We don't know what they got, but neither does Trump! That's why he shit himself! That's what's up with all the desperate accusations and the smear campaigns!

their willingness to embarrass themselves, if it will help to make sure the information won't be admissible.

So Nunez goes back to the WH to brief Trump? About what? Well the little info everybody already knew, that's what!

Never mind the fact that he decided to brief the WH before his counterparts on the investigation committee.

But Trump didnt give a shit. he goes on record as saying "so I guess this kinda vindicates me"! Knowing god damn well it didn't. Knowing we knew it didn't.

Why then? What was the fucking point? To simply derail the investigation.

Was Nunez in on it? Was he just a patsy?

It should be obvious. Why did he call them whistleblowers? Or high ranking officials? Or blah blah blah.

Nunez either recused himself or was removed from the investigation. Word is another investigation, this time into Nunez and the possible attempt to derail a federal investigation is gonna go down.

I'm telling you it's fkn ametuer night.

Don't get me started on Trumps bullshit attack on Syria! Does anybody believe Trump didn't know babies have been dying! That they have been dropping barrel bombs since the fightings been going on. Why the change of heart? It's desperation! I can smell it.

Fuk it!!! One more thing..... Trump was so proud that the following morning, he had his little buddy, Sean Spicer announce that the PRESIDENT had completely destroyed Syrias ability to use chemical weapons with the bombing the night before.

The runway was repaired and fully operational less than 24 hours later.

24 hours after bombing them and the whole thing was for nothing! Right?

You ever see a fighter jet with a 55 gal drum strapped to it? Syria doesn't have missiles with chemical warheads! They have drums. And they drop them from helicopters. Helicopters don't fkn need runways!

So never mind 24hrs later! Our bombing of Syria was all for nothing 24hrs before the first cruise missile was launched.

Then the whole call to Putin prior to launching. Him removing his planes n shit but not warning Asad(spelling)? Then condemning our attack the next day. If he thought it was wrong, why not warn your comrad? Because his comrades in on it! Asad has to fill a few potholes. Putin gets to act upset. Trump gets to show the world that everybody's got it wrong about Putin and himself.

Methinks you have more questions than answers. Which means any decisions to be/were made are not based on factual information. Then one asks--can decisions based on "questions" be any better those decided by how a coin lands once flipped? As in heads or tails. Hmmmm.

In the world of consultancy, one prides themselves by advising on matters and being correct more than 50/50 (better than a flip of a coin). In my mind, skepticism and curiosity have proved me right more than following the crowd; sheeple philosophy requires one to abandon skepticism and curiosity--because if those traits are ever exhibited, one is met with immediate expulsion or blackballed (ie those that suggest "climate change" is nothing more than another term for "weather" or "four seasons"). Remove skepticism and curiosity from the debate, then I say the results are no better than a flip of a coin. But somehow, somewhere facts have got to be part of the equation; absent the inclusion of facts, then....what does one have?

Well the weapons of mass destruction card has already been played and proven as bullshit once before. . . with the media at the forefront of "informing" us folks about it. . . but I guess short term memory is a fucking joke here in America anymore.

The media is mouthpiece for agendas of the elitist swine that have hijacked America's policies and political apparatus.

you are correct senior. no factual info to prove anything. And many more questions than answers. That's for sure.

If the question is whether Trump is guilty or not, then yes, without any facts....a coin is as good as anything. He either is or he isn't.

If the question is why he would choose to not release his tax returns, I don't see a coin being as useful. It might be, I just don't see it.

I always thought suspicious behavior was a real thing. Like that saying I once heard about pornography.... "I can't tell you what it is, but I know it when I see it"

I understand it's circumstantial and doesn't have much weight in the straight world and that no court would allow it, but in the real world it's plenty.

Hard for me to switch between the two I guess. I'm guilty of loosing sight of the fact that although we all know what flys in this counter culture of ours, some aren't as immersed as others. Some only visit while others, like myself, rarely leave.

I find it interesting that many of us here hold each other to a much higher standard than the president. If a promise is made or our word is given, we are expected to keep it, and we expect others to as well.

Then there are those with all kinds of different reasons why they believe it's ok to renege. Because it benifits them is rarely offered as one of the reasons.

Take for example all those breeders who, because they agreed, refuse to sell certain varieties unless it's been crossed. I've seen members ready to crucify a mother fker and I've seen others ready to buy buy buy arguing that the plant doesn't belong to anybody ect. ect.

They may be right but an agreement was made. Someones word was given. Someone was lied to.

I don't know. I guess we just really fkn like cannabis seeds!

Besides...My Republican homeboy Rep. Rohrabacher has our back !

44 in Congress support effort to keep DOJ handcuffed in medical cannabis states

Rep. Dana Rohrabacher leads effort with open letter seeking 'protections against federal enforcement' in states with medical marijuana laws

By Alicia Wallace, The Cannabist Staff

A bipartisan collection of nearly four-dozen U.S. House members want the feds to maintain their hands-off enforcement position toward states that have legalized medical marijuana.

Rep. Dana Rohrabacher, a Republican lawmaker from California, has spearheaded spending bill amendments that prevent the Justice Department from meddling in medical marijuana states. On Monday, he announced that he is urging the Commerce, Justice and Science committee chiefs to continue that path.

In a letter co-signed by Rep. Earl Blumenauer, D-Oregon, and 42 other House of Representatives members, Rohrabacher asked the chair and ranking member of the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Commerce, Justice, Science, and Related Agencies to include the following language in the fiscal year 2018 spending bill:

None of the funds made available in this Act to the Department of Justice may be used to enforce federal prohibitions involving the use, distribution, possession, or cultivation of marijuana for medical purposes that are permitted by the laws of the state, the District of Columbia, or U.S. territory where the act was committed, or to prevent states, the District of Columbia, or U.S. territories from implementing their own laws that permit the use, distribution, possession, or cultivation of marijuana for medical purposes.

The language has been included in House appropriations bills since 2014, with a 219-189 vote, and again in 2015, by a 242-186 vote. The Senate Committee on Appropriations adopted similar language in 2015, by a vote of 22-8, and in 2016, by a vote of 21-8, Rohrabacher wrote.

“We believe that the consistent, bipartisan support for such protections against federal enforcement, combined with the fact that similar language has been in place since December 2014, make a strong case for including similar language in your base FY 2018 appropriations bill,” he wrote.

This year’s amendment, previously referred to as the Rohrabacher-Farr amendment, will carry the name Rohrabacher-Blumenauer, as co-sponsor Sam Farr, D-California, retired last year.

The proposed Rohrabacher-Blumenaeur amendment does not come free of contention.

Members of Smart Approaches to Marijuana Action, an organization that opposes marijuana legalization, have said they would “cross-reference every House member” who signs the letter with reports documenting campaign contributions from the marijuana industry.

“We intend to investigate the legislators who do the pot industry’s bidding,” Kevin Sabet, SAM Action’s president, told The Cannabist Monday. “The American people should know who is doing the bidding of an industry whose goal is to promote addiction for profit.”

The signatories include Rep. Jared Polis, D-Colorado, and Rep. Don Young, R-Alaska, who co-founded the Cannabis Caucus with Rohrabacher and Blumenauer; Rep. Beto O’Rourke, who recently introduced the Better Driving Bill to curb driver’s license suspensions for drug offenses; and Rep. Mike Coffman, the Colorado Republican who said he’d “fight the attorney general” on marijuana.

Let's see, first you suggest that only people that agree with you have a place on these boards, those that disagree need to go. Isn't that a form of bullying?

Second, freedom of expression is a very important right--and when a group of people attempt to stifle it, it is called "suppression of dissent".

From wiki--

Suppression of dissent is undesirable in society for a variety of fundamental reasons. Freedom of speech is a cardinal rule for a free society: George Orwell wrote 'if liberty means anything at all, it means the right to tell people what they do not want to hear.' Dissent is essential to allow all points of view to be given and considered.

IMO, if you listened more and talked less, you might enjoy having a discussion with someone that is not a mirror image of yourself. I have learned more from people that know more than me...than from like-minded peeps that live in the same echo chamber.

From my favorite pot smoking smart guy--Carl Sagan:

The suppression of uncomfortable ideas may be common in religion or in politics, but it is not the path to knowledge, and there's no place for it in the endeavor of science. We do not know beforehand where fundamental insights will arise from about our mysterious and lovely solar system. The history of our study of our solar system shows us clearly that accepted and conventional ideas are often wrong, and that fundamental insights can arise from the most unexpected sources.

And, from American Library Association's website--

What Is Intellectual Freedom?

Intellectual freedom is the right of every individual to both seek and receive information from all points of view without restriction. It provides for free access to all expressions of ideas through which any and all sides of a question, cause or movement may be explored.

Why Is Intellectual Freedom Important?

Intellectual freedom is the basis for our democratic system. We expect our people to be self-governors. But to do so responsibly, our citizenry must be well-informed. Libraries provide the ideas and information, in a variety of formats, to allow people to inform themselves.

Intellectual freedom encompasses the freedom to hold, receive and disseminate ideas.

What Is Censorship?

Censorship is the suppression of ideas and information that certain persons—individuals, groups or government officials—find objectionable or dangerous. It is no more complicated than someone saying, “Don’t let anyone read this book, or buy that magazine, or view that film, because I object to it! ” Censors try to use the power of the state to impose their view of what is truthful and appropriate, or offensive and objectionable, on everyone else. Censors pressure public institutions, like libraries, to suppress and remove from public access information they judge inappropriate or dangerous, so that no one else has the chance to read or view the material and make up their own minds about it. The censor wants to prejudge materials for everyone.

Definition of "liberal": Willing to respect or accept behaviour or opinions different from one's own; open to new ideas.

Definition of "oppressor": A person or group that oppresses people.

Sorry, I am my own person. Maybe your not as "liberal" as you think.

Good to see my fellow icmagers standing up to left wingers who can't handle opposing views. Freedom of speech is for all Americans, not just liberals.

Let's get this back on topic, so this thread is productive.

It's time we act like adults.we are not going to change minds about cannabis with overtly political bullshit rhetoric. To the liberals if you want cannabis acceptance, you need conservatives. If we focus on states rights and personal liberties, we stand a chance to make real progress. We as a community constantly set our movement back. We are all stewards of the cannabis movement, we represent not just each other but the whole movement. Our actions affect each other.

Sessions’ Justice Dep’t will end forensic science commission

By Sadie Gurman|AP
April 10

WASHINGTON — Attorney General Jeff Sessions said Monday he is ending an Obama-era partnership with independent scientists that aimed to improve the reliability of forensic science, as longstanding concerns remain about the quality of such evidence in court cases.

The Justice Department will not renew the National Commission on Forensic Science, a panel of judges, defense attorneys, researchers and law enforcement officials that had been advising the attorney general on the use of scientific evidence in the criminal justice process. The department will instead appoint an in-house adviser and create an internal committee to study improvements to forensic analysis, Sessions said.

Their tasks will include a broad look at the personnel and equipment needs of overburdened crime labs.

“As we decide how to move forward, we bear in mind that the department is just one piece of the larger criminal justice system,” said Sessions in a statement, adding that most forensic science is done by state and local laboratories and used by local prosecutors.

The Obama administration formed the commission in 2013 to address wide-ranging concerns about problematic forensic techniques.

The Justice Department also is reconsidering an effort launched last year to review forensic sciences practiced by the FBI. That review sought to determine whether other scientific disciplines have been tainted by flawed testimony, a problem that surfaced in 2015 when the Justice Department revealed that experts had overstated the strength of their evidence in many older cases dating back decades involving microscopic hair analysis.

The disbanding of the commission was yet another way in which Sessions is shifting away from his Obama-era predecessors, who pushed for changes in forensic science and tried to establish federal standards. Last year, for example, acting on the commission’s recommendations, the Justice Department announced a new code of professional responsibility for its forensic science laboratories and also cautioned its examiners and prosecutors to use restraint in discussing the strength of their findings, among other standards.

Sessions, who frequently articulates a tough-on-crime agenda, called the availability of accurate forensic analysis “critical to integrity in law enforcement, reducing violent crime and increasing public safety.” He said the Justice Department would seek public comment on how to improve crime labs and “strengthen the foundations of forensic science.”

The National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers said it was disappointed by the move. Association President Barry Pollack said the commission was important because it allowed “unbiased expert evaluation of which techniques are scientifically valid and which are not.”

I totally understand how most liberal cannabis users feel about prohibition, but from my personal experience here and in regular life liberals attack what they disagree with. I agree conservatives are guilty of the same thing, but you don't see conservatives burn down there own community because of opposing viewpoints. Remember liberal politicians are guilty of doing nothing to help the movement.

We have to remember that there are more important issues to most Americans. Liberals are becoming militant. Liberals are so wrapped up in equality and social justice, that common sense doesn't matter. Equality of opportunity is one thing, you can't legislate people into success. Social justice is nothing more than revenge politics.
I mean seriously, people have a problem with Goresch because he follows the law not feelings. Politics has no place on the supreme court. It's the law, no more no less.

Conservatives are vital to the movement, we won't change cannabis laws without conservatives. Conservatives make up at least 50 % of the voters, and the vast majority of the states. Liberals rule the coasts but conservatives are the vast majority of America. The president, both houses of Congress, state legislature, and governors are majority controlled by conservatives. If we want to move cannabis in the right direction, we need conservatives, so stop calling them racist, bigots, Nazis and fascist.

Not so. Maybe by the party but a large percentage of us are very libertarian in our views.
Just as the lefts views on the silly shit like the bathroom issues and the fact that Milo cant visit universities without being attempted to shut down. Good liberal behaviors? And since I made a comment on the off topic of the bathrooms I will give my two cents.
If "transgenders" and the confused would just try to follow the golden rule and have some respect for young kids most people wouldn't notice. If your dressed like a man use the mens room. Same if your dressed as a woman. Unfortunately militant activists seem to always rub their views in the faces of those who don't care about your sexuality to the point they piss people off. THATS where people like me say enough. Show some respect for those around you.

barack obama took us light years ahead of what others have done. just by simply letting things go by way of the voters. by doing that med/rec gained a foot hold.

the tea party conservatives were incredibly "vigilant" in expressing their views after obama was elected. equality and social justice should mean something to everyone, one day you or someone you care about may find themselves getting the short end of the stick because your are different. gorsuch's rulings have always favored corporate interests. contrary to what some may have said corporations are not people.

we are all vital to our movement regardless of party, religion race etc etc. actually most registered voters arent D's or R's but rather independents. not all R's are racists bigots etc etc but there a decent amount that do identify with those view points...just like not all D's are snowflakes, wanting handouts, socialists but there are a decent amount that do identify with those views.

your first sentence is self contradicting. this is about MJ not bathrooms.

its that the conservative view point has as a whole always been anti marijuana.

i believe even the conservatives here will agree with my statement above.

Equality and social justice is nothing more than the government choosing the winners in life before the game is played. It's revenge politics. As far as Gorsuch is a widely respected judge, who was unanimously approved for his last post. I don't know how you have equal protection under the law, if you bring politics in to what is supposed to be fair and impartial.sometimes a judge may have to make rulings they don't like to maintain the sanctity of the law.

I totally agree, I have always been a registered independent. That being said I haven't found a Democrat who I could vote for in good conscience. Socialism has been an utter failure, every time. I had a Syrian English teacher who put it this way, "how many people have to die so you (not you specifically) can have your utopia". Unfortunately the mainstream media has pushed the racist, fascist, bigotry, name calling, now anyone who disagrees is nothing more. Americans want our freedom back.one day The left is going to push to far and the vast majority of America is going to take back America one way or another. Our government spies on all of us but the left is okay with it, even when done for political reasons.
