Dragon Ball is the best story line of any japanese animation I have ever seen. Only people that seen it from the beginning can understand the entire story. Naruto is another excellent story line which would be better without all the repeats.

Dragon Ball
Naruto
Cowboy Bebop
Samurai Champloo
FMA
Baki the Grappler
Ninja Scroll
Shura No Toki
Apple Seed The Movie

Gonna have to go digging through my DVD's and come up with some more titles.

Off the top of my head:

Castle in the Sky
My Neighbor Totoro
and Shin Chan(Really love that show!)
And most of the ones listed above.

i used to not really get anime, but recently my schedules have changed and i end up staying up late and the only thing on is adult swim. started watching some anime, and if you get in from the beginning of a story and excuse some of the cheesiness it can be pretty entertaining.

im really liking bleach cowboybebop and full metal alchemist

Man, Nausicaa was good but old, made by Studio Ghibli back in the day. If you liked those epic type movies you should check out more of the old Ghibli movies (makers of Spirited Away and Howl's Moving Castle, Kiki's Delivery etc.). For example, Princess Mononoke is actually very similar to Nausicaa in terms of the theme of it (anti-pollution).

ok here are all of hayao miyazakis films i actually intervied him through email when i was in the fifth grade it was really fun i wish i still had the emails anyway nausicaa valley of the wind, castle in the sky, my neighbor totoro, kikis delivery service, porco rosso, on your mark "music film", princess mononoke, spirited away, howls moving castle, ponyo on a cliff, now studio ghibli films by isao takahata grave of fireflies, only yesterday, pom poko,
my neighbors the yamadas, other films by studi ghibli whisper of the heart, tales of earth see, thats most of there movies. i noticed recently while watching my neighbor totoro they change the voices and they are really annoying so grab an old copy quick if you like that movie
