xyz - thanks man

skar - yea this is the best smelling one so far, really looking forward to toking that one. I have very high expectations of the pink pistil sativa dom phenotype. that one is a bit apple smelling at this stage, but its a hard one to pin down.

ok here are some new pics for you guys.

not too long now for this lady in the veggie garden I think. She has a very nice bud structure with dense little foxtail-like clusters bursting out on all directions now. I really like this one, its the minty phenotype.

and here is the pink pistil sativa dominant pheno which looks like it has quite some time to go still. This is the most beautiful plant I have ever grown for sure. She stood out to me in veg because of her more sativa shaped leaf structure.

here are a few shots of the 2 larger plants I have going. The pheno with pink pistils is particularly gorgeous I think...

Hey Ezra! Yeah, gotta love them pistils! I want to ask about your CFL set-up. I see you have no reflector. Plants seem to be doing good though, Id like very much to hear your experience of positioning the CFL in this way!

well, to answer your question, I think that positioning the lamp vertically with no reflector is extremely efficient if the lamp is surrounded by plants. ideally, the lamp is completely surroundd by plants and is not positioned above the plants as it might be when using a 'china hat' reflector. If done correctly, it allows the plants to be equidistant from the light source with almost all the lamp output being directly transmitted to the plants without inefficient reflection. The way I had it set up is not optimal, but was convenient for me at the time.

Wow, that strain looks amazing. Very impressive, love the colors. How is the high? It looks like a sativa/indica hybrid leaning more towards the sativa side from the looks of things. What's the lineage? Does anyone know which breeder or company it is from? Is there every the possibility they'll be up for auction or something one day again?

Many blessings,
Green

I ran 2 packs of JP way back in 2003 that a good friends dad brought back from Amsterdam. First i ran them indoor. They were so-so indoor just not really up to par with the Bog and Joey Weed strains around at that time. Then I stuck the most sativa girl outside. WOW big difference. Outside she took on a complete different taste and potency. She was spicy sweet with that outdoor taste in there and had a good potency. I wouldnt run them again unless it was outdoor.

thanks for the info, pro headies - i had JP in my mind for a later run, but you confirmed my suspicion that they need the full outdoor sun to develop properly.
