I'v got a JBM story to share... 2005, drove up to Vancouver. Wanted to meet Marc Emery. It was a Sunday, and crossing over from the US side took several hours. By the time I got to the pot block, Emery was closing his store, with a gruff "come back tomorrow, 9am". Bummed, I started checking out other businesses. On the east side of the MPHQ, there was a 3 story building with a store called "The Spirit Within" (or something like that) on the top floor. They were selling hallucinigenic herbs. I asked the guy where I could score some bud. He said 2 doors down on the right. Inside, a couple of guys were playing video games. I told them what I was after, and he pulls out this huge trash compactor bag FULL of JBM buds! At $10US a gram. I had been on Hastings Street for less than 30 minutes and scored! On a Sunday night no less!! At that time, it and Early Wonder Skunk were the 2 most popular strains in Van.

Nice tasting buds, the high was above average but I built a tolerance for it fairly quickly.

Spent all of my spare time (three weeks a month) in Jamaica from '95 till '03. Found excellent Ice in Treasure Beach, great Cambodian in Lucea, and a Thai ancestor from Orange Hill near Negril. Early 90's a friend coming back from Thailand had boat problems and pulled into the beach there, cost him a percentage to fix the boat... But the best was a strain they called Alaska grown near Darleston back in '96. Never saw it again. Came across very good bud in the Blue Mtns. but not like I found in the Western areas. My two cents. BM

Hi, guys. Sorry, I have not cultivated a BM, but I'm growing the Caribe, and I can say that this wonderful plant, strong, hardy, bushy, with wonderful smells, particularly impressed with the sharp, sweet smell of strawberries. I really like this plant.

Hope some may find this Jamaican interesting enough despite years being grown here in Spain. As said before many positive traits although may have lots a bit of his old fire. Very nice combination ability anyhow.

Great news!!!!

Last year i planted some seeds from Costa Rica.They were introduced as "Jamaican green"...Very untasty herb with no high.

caribe is a JBM x NL5 Haze crossed back to the JBM making it 75% JBM, no skunk#1 in it.
