Great update ! I love those pics of outdoors. The plant looks so natural and beautiful. You had a great area for cultivation. Do you get more than one harvest per year?

Thanks for the kind words my friend,its a perfect spot to grow in.Right behind my house on the mountain side with no obstruction so they get a full days worth of sun until it sets in the mountains.I do plan on expanding the spot as Im going to be growing more strains at a time.
What I do is keep them in pots and in the night bring them in under the lights to veg them about 40-50 days,sex them then plant.When they get to about 50 days in flower I will start my next set up stairs in pots.That way I have time to chop and prep the site again for the next set to be planted and I do that cycle year round.
Next month I'll start my next grow,Chemdog D x Sour Diesel , AK 47 x Master Kush , Apollo 11 and Bubblegum and cross some of them with a local strain called Orange hill...Hurry up next month !

Hurry up next month!! The next run sounds great! Outdoor grown always sounds better to me. So how many harvests do you get in one year? I hope you dont mind but I used some of your pics for my screen saver

thanks jamaican appreciate the advice king.....sounds like what i do too but i usually use whatever live bait is in d area...usually sprat or what we call joshua or maybe a DOA shrimp lure.....just a question bro...why do u grow indicas?? cuz sativas get alot bigger and are super potent esp where we live (12/12 caribbean) not to mention mold resistance etc....just wondering.....

As far as harvest I do two a year because I dont need anymore then that,and its nice to have down time that I dont have to worry about them with guest,not that I really worry but you know what I mean.Now that I have gotten my hands on some very good genetics I think I will be doing a continues cycle year round.As one set is about 2-3 weeks ready from harvest Ill start my next ones so I can veg them and fix back my spot and get them in the ground.I plan to do a lot of crosses to with local strains and pass the seeds out to my friends.
Orange hill is a place in Jamaica where a lot of the best is grown so they just call it Orange hill buds.From what I have had it seems like some kinda skunk strain,you never know what your getting here,its eather high grade or not.
Oh and you can take all the pics you want,considering all better pictures on this site im surprised you took mine,thanks.

When I fish from the bridge that is close to the river mouth I use " sabiki " google it to catch live sprat as well and set out about 5 hand lines with them.Get a few snook here and there but the lures work better when time is right to catch them.I have used the DOA shrimp as well but with no success so I dont bother,snook do love shrimp though cause a easy target and they dont pass them up or even small crabs.
As far as the indicas,Ive always grown nothing but sativas and I wanted to give the indicas a chance,Ive never grown or smoked indicas.To tell you the truth I wont be growing them anymore at this point,that might change at harvest but we will see.I do worry about the mold though because we get some serious rain on this side,I had to chop a few weeks early my last grow due to a few weeks of nothing but rain and mold was starting to be a problem.But thats the joy of being able to grow year round,it wont affect me that much so I'll give it a chance and next month on to bigger and better things.

lol sorry man...Coffee and bat guano isnt a good mix I agree but to tell you the truth bat guano turns me on,I love getting my hands on a big bucket of shit !

Not much to report but I took a few pictures of the Widows and they are filling in very nice so I thought I would share a few pictures.
Also I mixed up some tea and they seemed to love it,first batch was 1tsp bat guano, 1 tsp of molasses per gallon.Next feeding will be 2tsp of each per gallon,I'll feed them that mix every 5-7 days or mix some very rich dirt with bat guano and broken down coconut husk and mound it up around the plant.
Didnt realize how much I love going organic until I started taking it serious,now I cant get enough and half the fun is searching out source's for what I need for my compost pile.
Heres my compost pile so far,all kitchen scrapes,coffee grounds,all left over veggies,fruits,egg shells,bat guano,chicken guano,sea weed,rotted down coconut husk.Tomorrow I'll be adding brown leaves,some green leaves and wood shavings and let mother nature do the rest.One question though,considering what my ingredients are how long do you think it will take to breakdown before I can use it for teas or add to soil?

We have been VERY lucky so far,a couple very close calls and side swipes but nothing major since 1988 with hurricane Gilbert that demolished the island.
Personally I think were long over due for something major to roll over us but being in past hurricanes and tropical storms I dont know how the island would manage even with a direct hit with a cat 2 or worse.Im ready for them when they come,its not a matter of if but when.

Its been a while from my last update so I thought I would stop in and give you a quick update.Things have been very busy here with work so I havent been around much.Not much to report,there just enjoyin the sun when its out.The Widows look like they have a few more weeks to go and the NL/H is gettin there strech on.

When they were younger I didnt get to feed them that much and when I did once they got nute burn kinda bad.From flower Ive only been giving them bat guano mixed in soil or tea once a week of bat guano,chicken guano,rotted down coconut husk and molasses.By now I was hoping they would have been a lot bigger,I do have a few compost piles going that will be good when there ready but there still breaking down so I cant use yet.If anyone wants to put out some suggestions I would appreciate it.

Hurricane Ike almost was almost a direct hit where Im at,it was bad but it could have been a lot worse.We live in a very fortified house with rebar and concrete blocks so we dont feel it as bad.I remember we did lose power for a week but we have generators so it wasnt to bad.I forget what ones are what cause there all the same but it doesnt take much down here to fuck everything up,just gotta take it and move on.Its the cost for living in a beautiful place.
