Jack Flash , Isis, Strawberry Cough, New York City Diesel

welcome to my new grow.
setup as always.

changes: i am using pots again. so i can move plants easy.
i test 4,5l 6l and 8l pots

strains are in the threadtitle

2m² are jack flash (2 x 25 cuts)
1m² are around 10-15 isis cuts
4 new york city diesel cuts
2 straw berry cough seeds

and 6 jack flash cuts in 2 advanced blubber.

i will go to 12/12 as soon as i can take a cut of the strawberry coughs. i hope it will be on monday.

temps are ok, humidty is 2 low for veg, but i do my best

the 2m² jack flash are autowatered by a 8000l/h pump.
the 1m² on the right with a 4500l/h pump.
i got an 90l reservoir
and 60l drainreservoir
4 blowers
2 exhausters (1 for the shades (420cbm/h), 1 for the room(780cbm/h))

currently ph: 5,9 ec 1,2
watered 3 times, 1 minute -> 3 minutes
the drain isnt reused.

evergreen: its the nycd.de version the less yielding, but more resin producing pheno.
why no indicias? cause i have grown mostly indicas the last years. i now enjoy growing and smoking sativas more.

dont know if you already wrote it somewhere...but what are the differences between the nycd.de and the nycd.at pheno? (nycd.at is the austrian-shop-soma-selected-clone, isnt it?)
i have grown the austrian-shop-soma-selected-clone and this one is so fruity grapefruit...is the nycd.de clone even better?

well as i said, its less yielding but produces more resin and trichs. and the taste is even better

the .at is selected by yield and high

the at version does smell fruitier
but the de version does TASTE fruitier, thats why i prefer her

interessting...but i think you are right...the nycd.at pheno also isnt the most potent one....in comparisson to some SSH or AK47 knock-out weed....
but i could smoke the nycd.at pheno all day, just cause it smells SOOO good

philo: yeah everythings quite fine.

the 2m² jack flash ( 2 x 25 cuts) are completey ready for bloom.
the 2 blubbers are also ready for bloom, filled with 2 x 3 jack flash
the last m² is filled like this:

14 Isis (Dutch Passion)
4 Sticky Sister (Herbaria)
4 New york City Diesel (Soma)
2 Strawberry Cough (Dutch Passion)

the last m² needs to be connected to the autowatering system, i will do that afterwards i post or tomorrow. sadly the SC plants wont be ready to give a cut tomorrow. but as i have the one 600w venture master (blue lights, extra good for growth) over the 1st m² of jack flash i will switch that tomorrow. hope they can keep up then.

next update when i take the cuts of the SC or do u think i shouldnt take cuts and go to bloom? i have 4 seeds (fem.) of the SC left... mhm

you could try taking cuttings 2-3 weeks into flowering from one of the lower branches if the SC is bushy enough...

nope i only take top - cuts. no lower branches.
i think maybe the sc´s are ready 2morrow for taking the cuts.

everything is now setup.
all plants that are going to bloom this round:

56 x jack flash
14 x Isis
4 x New york city diesel
2 x Strawberry Cough
4 x Sticky Sister

currently
15° at plants with lights ON ! (but only 3/4 lights are on, so some ° are still in there)
35% humidity (very low for veggin i know, but i can hardly do anything about it)
19° at the highest place in my grow room (near the exhauster)

little update

everything is done
the sc look like they need 1 or 2 more days so i can take a cut of each

all lights will be running from tonight on.
the past days i had it like that:

on (venture master blue light) on (red light) off on (red light)

jack flash 25 x jack flash 25 x the last 1,5 m²

now it will be:

on (red) on (red) on (blue) on (red) so the blubbers and the sc have the blue spectrum and grow faster.

Is there any special reason for you only taking cuttings from the top?

i think i read somewhere that only tops have 100% of the genetic information and are more likely to root and so on...

also i experiecned that cuts from lower branches need more time to get started (rooting and growing) as tops

Interesting. I know there was a discussion here and I think on grower.de about that subject. Everyone says differently though so I've not made my mind up yet.

I take mine during flower, generally at around 40 days 12/12 (don't have a big veg space so can't do it any other way) and have no problems rooting them. The good thing about clones taken whilst flowering is that they tend to grow more than one main stem. I end up with around 3-4 main colas without having to do any topping.

I'll see about taking some cuttings from top and bottom next time though to compare if there's any difference. :wink:

hey doc, spagetti junction with those drip lines !
i v had probs with low humidity in veg , most effective way i found to raise it was blow the intake air directly on a large tray of water. sitting on the ground. got mines up from mid 20s to mid 30s . tried an elecric humidifier(400w!!) , steam type , but was less effective than the fresh air blowing on the tray which is free .
no plank this time ? sure i read ya had 1 in there for headstash!!

i have made only good experience with taking only the tops for cuts
and i have tried sometimtes to take lower branches and as i wrote they rooted or grow slower. and the only reason you are getting 3-4 colas is because the main top dies when u take cuts in flower. or is growing so slowly that the lower branches grow over it ...

that is why i i only use top branches for cuts. this time i used some non top. i will show u next time how back they are compared to the others...

steph: indeed i got a plank but i havent got any coco left to pot her into. so i think she stay´s out. and headstash? wtf? i ONLY grow headstash this time haha

the humidity problem is only for some days. i will switch to 12/12 in 1-2 days so i dont care about it...
