24 inches....yup, 24 inches tall man, thats gonna be an adventure, lol! I mean a 6 inch clone finshing at 36, lol.... Im in trouble I think, hehehe but its the kinda trouble I can deal with

Harry...how you like the citral, she's looking pretty stout aint she!!! If it were me I would *break* their necks a couple of times...From what I have experienced, topping during flower inhibits growth big time..(which could be a good thing for you)..but if you bend all of the branches over, she will explode with growth, so you can control the height without sacraficing yeild.

Damn right i like that Citral sunny, it looks bloody amazing....., girth...is a word that was inventedfor that plant, lol.
right my Jack.... what I thought was, as I only put her in flower last night....20 hours ago........Taking her top tip off wont really hurt will it???. then like you say, I will be bending and tying...you should av seen it at christmas with3 great Biog Kush/Skunk cross plants, and a phonix...plus everything else, but the big sat doms...were fun to do, lol...a few times that phoenix's buds were touchin the floor, lol!
So, when you say break their necks....do you literally mean bend em till u feel it break...til it gets a sort of fold??? i thought about maybe cutting a peice of correx to fit over the top of the pot, and turn it over on it's side maybe.
Ill get something sorted anyway!

I will bend them very slowly and easily until the inner layer snaps. The key to pinching is to apply just enough pressue that you crush the inner tissue without destroying the outer tissue--you still want the branch to allow fluids through it.....you can hear a crunch...but you dont want it crushed so the branch is completely limp, unable to support itself.... if I need to I splint or support them so the branch is straight....if it hangs totally folded over, the vascular tissues will be cut off and not allow itself to be fed!

When these knots heal they will explode, and it keeps my canopy fairly level!!!

Right....just to the point before it wouild fold then....ill do my little twisty thing first...i notice it sort of limbers em up a bit for bending!
Ill make sure i take lots of pics of her,, i think she will end up takeiong that end of the room over, so i will need advice right through I think,lol!
Im oing to maybe take thgat top as a clone tonight, as i ay, hasnt even been ion 24 hours yet.....so I dont think it will hurt??? what do you reckon?

EDIT.....I have some bean netting....do you think i could rig a bit of that up in the area its in to get the branches to go through??? would it be a lotr of effort for nothing at this stage? with such a stretch to come I reckion it might help???

harry if you top her right now, I bet she'll just end up stretching less, since she'll be going through that stress for a couple days while she would be growing like crazy. One of my girls had this effect from transplanting the day before I switched to 12/12. It worked out well because she was considerably larger than my other girls. The question is, can stressing a plant at the begining of 12/12 effect potency?... Id venture to guess no.

a grower learns the difference between good stress and bad...

with the right amout of good stress the plants can achive full potenial...
