The garage is a BAD idea, cant your mate do it in his room ? like a super stealth cabinet.

Do these things in your own territory, somewhere you can GARANTEE nobody will be digging around. AND KEEP IT LOCKED.

If you can take steps to make sure it never gets discovered, then i dont think it's too irrisponsible. Otherwise i would find somewhere else to do it.

Growing a few oz of your own bud is not worth the risk that goes with growing in your parents house without their knowledge. Is a few oz worth your parents possibly going to jail, having permanent marks on their records, maybe losing custody of their children (you)?

I will tell you Idont think you ever thought about it or you wouldnt fn even consider helping him... hell admit it you are him and you just dont give a rats ass that your risking the freedom and property of your parents...

it really doesn't matter how dysfunctional and oblivious his parents are. they can still go to jail because of your stupid decisions. Tell 'your friend' that you want your stuff back and just keep it stored in a box until you have your own place. Hell, get a small studio apartment for cheap in some run down area and grow there if you're so desperate to grow. I think one of the issues here is that you already invested in all this stuff and you don't want to waste your investment.
Someone else mentioned this, but I know there are a lot of parents out there who would claim responsibility for the grow before letting their children go to jail over it. What you want to do is so irresponsible and so inconsiderate of the lives of other people.

Im not up to scratch on your laws but surely his parents would have no chance of going down if he was caught growing a few oz of what would probably not even grow.He's just after a bit of help and all you've all done is rip him to bits. He's 19 not 39 we've all fucked up when we were kids, part of growing up isnt it, maybe not that side of the pond.
