I've got a serious problem with wintery conditions

Hey guys im just gonna get right to the chase:

1. Right now im growing great white shark with a 400w HPS, 4'' Vortex centrifugal fan extraction, bio grow and bio bloom, soil with earthworm castings/bat guano/pearlite/sand and ph 7 i believe. Im using the mini hydro hut grow room. Heres the situation:

- Its really cold outside here where I am in the US and me and my growing m8 planned to grow it in his garage. Now, i have a space heater, and we were planning putting blankets around the tent, I really dont want this cold air effecting the plant at all. And I know that with the 4'' fan that it will cool the lamp. Im just really worried about 3 things, 1 of 3 i know is already resolves which is the overheating of the lamp. The second condition that I am worried about is pesticide/insecticide in the garage and m8 said that roadents tend to find a way in his garage. And we cant grow inside because its too risky with his parents/family members. The 3rd thing I am worried about is I hope it doesn't get to cold so that the plant freezes or something, I mean I think i mean im not sure i just think that we'll have our assets and bases covered wtih blankets/mylar reflection inside the tent and a space heater outside the tent just for some security. Any suggestions m8's?

lol we dont have that option, we've gotta stick with the cold garage since he'll be putting a lock on the garage and his parents never go into the garage. I mean ever. So any suggestions about a cold garage? And besides when electric bills become a problem with comed, which they definately wont ahah, he'll use the gerber baby excuse. It's not as bad as it seems so can we please just stick with the cold garage for now

That's an asshole thing to do. If the cops find out, they will charge the parents because its their house. If he's 19, he needs to move the fuck out and grow at his OWN place instead of putting his parents at risk like that. And Im sure you feel its none of our business to mention this, but it IS our business. Kids doing sh*t like this reflects badly on ALL growers, it makes us all look sneaky and devious. Tell your friend to get a job!

Man I just had to move my veg room (plants only not the room lol) into flowering room and make a separate area there, got too cold and the veg area got too cold, it's -30c outside and getting colder, not nice...now they seem to grow again lol, took me a week to get it done...slacker me...lol..

Holy shit I better start reading these threads better, son, get the plants out of the garage, rent a warehouse or something....dont play with other peoples life, you guys get jail in the mighty US of A for growing cannabis and your friends parents will be held responsible for it most likely, that doesnt sound good, cut the poor plants and make some cannabutter or something, just get them the fuck away from there and GET A APARTMENT OF YOUR OWN for doing things like growing pot or cooking meth, never do it in your parents house. When I was younger and living with my parents I was tempted to grow behind their backs too, but then I thought about it this way: when im 40 years old, how would I feel if my kid decided it would be a good idea to start cooking meth in my house? Karma man, what goes around comes around. Do the smartest thing you can do right now and listen to the advice you're being given by people in the know- you think you've got it all figured out, but there's soo many things that can go wrong. What if they open up the garage and discover your plants? Worse yet, what if you set their house on fire with some faulty wiring? Or what if a prowler comes by and you have to call the cops? No one plans for that shit to happen but it does happen, albeit not to often.

Its his decision to guys if you havent thought about that. Do you actually think I havent questioned this shit? Do you think I havent questioned growing in his house. I've talked with him about this, felt awful, thinking that I would only get charged with conspiracy and he would for distribution/possession/ and conspiracy and thats over $15,000 in fines, and I dont think you understand. His parents are idiots, its a dysfunctional family their living in, i feel for him in some ways but we all got our problems. You guys can judge me all you want as an ignorant prick assholian for doing this, but realize this, I've given him the supplies, I've given him all the tools, its in his hands where he's going to grow it not mine. If hes got a lock on the door no ones going to come in. Ok his dad found fertilizer and he had no idea what it was. This is how oblivious they are dude, his dad's running a faulty business as it is. Fuck though, I will back my m8 up though, if hes going down Im goin down with him, we're ready. Besides again about the cold: space heater + blankets + tent in the corner of the garage where it is unseeable equals a perfect spot, besides, I have printed out a pamplet for him from icmag and from another site which I will remain anonymous too with all of the risks and felony's and possible floods/shortages/fires,over the top expenses. If he's willing to go through with it in his house where his parents aren't even home most of the time or his mom who weighs 250 lbs and can barely walk and doesn't even know how to drive a car; than so be it. And not to start any fights, my irresponsibility to the 100th degree yes, but isn't doing drugs and hurting yourself irresponsible as well. go over to home depot or ace and get some hot water heater insulation blankets and cut them and duct tape them to the grow hut. Put your plants up on something like bricks or wood some warm air can pass under them.

Having done a grow a few years ago in my parents house without permission, I have to say it's a BAD idea. I didn't get caught but looking back, it wasn't worth the paranoia. Not only have you got to worry about how dissapointed your parents would be in you for goin behind their backs, there would also be the fact that if caught, they might try to protect you at their own risk. This happened to one of my friends and he has to live with the fact that someone he cares about is paying for his mistakes.
