I'm still waiting for my ph/tds sensor. It's been almost 15 weeks, but he told me the other day 2 1/2 weeks and I should have it. So I'm giving him room.

I honestly think you should go all the way and do hydro, but buy your stuff while your doing dirt, but take ur time to truely think it out thoroughly, but buy ur ph/tds sensor first because it will be a wait. And once you do, you can get peristaltic pumps also and automate a whole lot of things. You can get a bunch of free peristaltic pumps from Welco. http://www.welco.net/index.html

They already gave me 3 and they are sending me more...all for free. Just make yourself up like ur a company and they'll send you sample pumps. Valued at over $100 a piece. And thats how you can do awesome computer controlled growing.

Yeah, they sent me 3 so far and are sending me more because I complained that the wxp-1 pumps inconsistant with speed (Which they are but no big deal to me), so I asked for samples of the wp-1000 pumps and so they are sending me more....all for free.

You have to make it sound like your a reputable company and create an email address that would go with that said company. Tell them that you have plans on buying thousands of pumps from them. You have to do your best to make it like your working for a company, letterhead and all if you can. But it works.

Yeah, I'm in the US, and the pumps run on DC voltage.

If I were you I would not ask for samples immeadiately. Ask for information first, give it a couple weeks to review it and then ask about samples. You play your cards correctly and you can get anything.

I still dont have my damn meter. My patience is totally gone. I'm about to flip the fuck out. I have grown tired of his excuses. He has till the end of this week for that meter to be at my door, after that I am going all out war. He almost never returns my emails anymore and when he does he avoids questions that I have asked him. He almost acts as if he doesn't want the bussiness anymore.

Well considering that when I first made my order I was told a six weeks wait and now I have been waiting for 24 weeks and I still dont have it, I am totally bullshit and I will never do bussiness with him again due to his poor bussiness management skills abd I wont ever recommend that anyone else purchase anythign from him unless he really gets his shit together.

This is wrong that he would do this to people, make many people wait 6+ months for the meters that they paid for, and go and spend his time writing software to authenticate the GT hardware so no one can build their own devices and use them with his software. And while he's doing this, my fucking meter still isn't being made.

Fuck this. I have had it.

I got it, but the PH part isn't working. He is supposed to send me out a replacement, but I dont know when. I'm kinda giving up.

Chopping off your part wont help you. I've been through a couple divorces myself. Shame on me I guess but I'm always the optimist! haha. Hang in there and 10k you can get back. I've paid far more than that so far and I am doing better than EVER now. I just can't tell the ex's that or my support will go up! :pointlaug
Anyways you seem very intelligent so hang in there and it will work out. It always has for me.
One thing I didn't get from following your threads was the heavy emphasis on stealth. Even when there was a question as to why not put scrubber on outside you replied it was for stealth reasons... who cares? You were growing tomatoes not mj (for familiy/jail reasons if I recall) I appreciate everything you put together, its amazing.. but why insist so heavily on stealth. Tomatoes are still legal for now I think. :joint:

the problem is is that it is probably very very expensive and not cost effective. if you are rich and have lots of capital, then go for it.. for the rest of us, we can't afford it were too busy working our little $300 budgets to make what we can...

I think the GHC-4 unit was about $1200. That's a pretty good price.
