For most of us in the Northern Hemisphere it's nearly time to chop down our ladies. It's a time of sadness but also of great joy. It is also a time of planning, and for some some back breaking work.
Despite being nearly a year away I'm already thinking about next years grow. I've found a couple new spots perfect for some plots, and already speculating how to make it better. And perhaps more exciting already thinking about new strains for next year.
Hashberry from Mandala is going to be one of the many new strains I'll attempt in the great outdoors next year. I'm a bit worried about mold due to the dense buds, however it finishes fast enough I think it'll be alright. While I'm at it I'll be picking up a pack of Mandala's Safari Mix, I'm a big fan of surprises and it looks like a pack of them could have several tasty surprises.
It's been awhile since I've had anything 'vibrant' in my garden so I'm thinking of picking up some Sweet Purple from Paradise seeds. I've heard mixed reviews about it, however it's cheap enough to warrant a go. I'm also looking for a decent blueberry cross if anyone has anything to recommend, perhaps something with better potency than straight up Blueberry.
I got a sweet mother out of the pack of C99 JLP was kind enough to gift. That'll get reveged and provide some clones, it's a fast enough finisher that I'll finally have a nice sativa growing outside. I still have three more beans of them to pop, perhaps I'll try to get a couple phenotypes going, who knows.
Lastly I'm gonna try some Aurora B that I've been saving, I love skunk crosses and this one sounds to be very nice. Haven't read much about it but Flying Dutchmen provides some quality beans.
So what about you guys? What are you going to do for next year? Feel free to tell us what did and didn't work for you, and also toss up any new strains you're looking to try for next year.
