I was diagnosed at 41. It really made a lot of things suddenly make sense for me. My ex-wife ended up leaving me and fucking me over, but there's no point in dwelling on that. I tell you, it really makes a big difference knowing that's what's up. It allows me to see the world through a filter now, which was always there, but I thought it was the real world. It's like, once you know that filter is there, you can start interpreting reality differently. It's really hard to explain, but I think you know what I'm saying or will soon know what I'm saying.
FWIW, not a single variety of cannabis has provided all of the medical benefits of Adderall, without the dysphoria, as Panama (green pheno) did. I'm going to grow more of that out soon since I don't take my adderall anymore. So I recommend looking into those genetics if you haven't already.
Also, I don't know if you use Facebook at all, but there's a group called ADHD and Chill that has honestly become one of the best support groups out there. It really puts a lot of things into perspective, and it gives you thousands of other people to discuss stuff with who know *exactly* the kinds of tribulations we go through.
Full disclosure: I'm one of those people who thinks of ADHD as a super power.
