I'd be too worried if it 'seeded'/hermed in their house, what is to keep it from doing the same in mine?
Also, those types of seeds don't tend to be stable (genetically)...Not bad if you are throwing the dice for another clone-only in your garden, but if you are building up your genetic bank, you want stable seed stock (either a pollen chuck of two stable lines, or seeds from someone who knows what they are doing when talking about backcross, inbred, recessive/dominant, ect..)

Well that seed was bunk anyway... just one of those hollow hulls upon closer inspection (and subsequent crushing). Ah well, probably for the best.
BTW, everyone... I know I slacked today and didn't get up the 8 week photos. I was suuuuuuper busy all day today. I *WILL* have them up within the next 24 hours.

A day late, but oh well
This day 57 of flower (8 weeks, 1 day)...
Ms. Lemon Pie is looking lovely as always. She is nearly done... I may be harvesting her Friday or Monday (I won't have time on the weekend). Likely will try to stretch it until Monday so I can take photos all at the same time (it'll be 9 weeks then).

As you know, I was planning on re-vegging LP after harvest (which will be Monday, I've decided). Now, I am rethinking this, because today I noticed one of her fan leaves had what almost looked like shiny soap-scum on it. Magnifying that leaf showed two thrips crawling around. Ugh. They don't seem to be on any other leaves. I picked that leaf off and let my cat eat it (he freakin' loves fan leaves). Should I just give up on the re-veg idea, or are they relatively easy to control?

Your all good just try minimize their numbers for now without using chemicals and you'll be sweet. Those sticky traps you got just use heaps them.
As you can see from other plants you've got going they haven't been hugely affected by the thrips...They are more just a pain in the ass rather than a crop destroyer like Winged Root Aphids, don't get me wrong though thrips can cause considerable damage if not kept under control with traps etc. You just have to learn to live with them in my opinion.

Screw that. If its an isolated to that plant, spry her the f@@k down with chemicals after you harvest. Then pull some cuttings from new untreated growth. That wouldbe my approach. Although, I have a fungus gnat issue, which seems to be resolving itself, I never cared to treat it.
What about root pruning a reveg plant? Those big flowering pots wouldn't fit in my veg room, nd I have a white widow that never got a viable clone.

If you really want to I see no reason why not, just be careful, they tend to not like that and need some babying (easier in DWC because the media (H2O) separates easily from the roots and tiny hairs.
Get a big bucket 5+ gal, or even an 18 gal tub to fill with water, un-pot your plant, then take your rootball, submerge in the water and gently work out the media...May have to rinse and repeat as needed.
Then you can proceed to cut, with clean preferably sterilized blades...Don't want to add any nasties into freshly cut root mass. However since you are in soil, organic, not as much concern as sterile DWC.
Personally, I'd just get some beans online or in store (under $100 all said and done for your redcard), or just have a full tank of gas come Jan 1...Some county, somewhere in Colorado is going to be ready to PROFIT on others foot dragging.
I only say because, 'white widow' has been a busy lady and has born many children. IMO there is danker stuff out there just waiting for you to grow it.

Hi, all! It is day 64 (9w1d) today! I have been super busy, and was out of town for the weekend (yes, I had someone look in on the girls!)
I made a decision about LP today. I don't think I will be re-vegging her. Too much of a pain. I will make every attempt to contact the guy who gave her to me (and someone gave her to HIM, but I don't know that person), and get a new one if I can -- later.
I believe I have been giving plain water for the last 3 weeks now. LP's leaves are FINALLY starting to lighten. CD4's are still green green green. I checked trichomes today, and LP will be cut in the next day or two. Ambers are starting to show more obviously now. CD4 still has another week or so, easily, but at least her lower branches are getting heavy, and lean down onto the rim of the pot now Not quite as popcorn-y as they were. Since I will be chopping LP soon, I have snipped a small-ish bud, and it is drying right now for a tester (just weighed it... it was 3 grams wet, trimmed as best I could with what I had).
One thing I need to purchase today is a nice pair of trimming scissors to do the harvest job. I am pretty sure that I am going to harvest enough to last me a VERY LONG TIME, unless I start stepping up my consumption. It literally takes me like 3 weeks to go through a gram at this point, and I smoke every night (I use a one hitter). Perhaps if I use a different method, I will go through more?

Got some bad news today, so I didn't do a big fancy photoshoot, just snapped a couple quick pics. Not particularly in a great mood.
Here's the sample bud I chopped off LP today. 3 grams wet. I know it isn't trimmed great, but it is the absolute first time I ever did this, and I have crap scissors. I will get better ones once I actually pull her totally down:
