Just looking at it here, it seems hes about 50-75+ feet in front of the steps. Modern digital cameras are going to focus everything in the frame as best as it can, which explains the lack of depth of field in this shot. but its there , as the pyramid isnt quite in focus and it goes softer the higher up it goes.
theres no rendering artifacts around the man in the pic, meaning leftover/poor edgework.
the lighting matches the background, being a soft white overcast day. Look between the strands of his dreads for clues and that is spot on. Its not hard to make a shoop look this good, but you need 1000's of hours of shoopery experience to pull this off. particulary the lighting on the skin and halo on the hat
