Is this cal-Mag deficiency if Not what ?

Just readjust the pH to 6.3 after calibrating your pH meter. It's the start of an Mg deficiency by the looks. I would add a little epsom to your regular nutrient mix rather than CalMag, say 50 ppm. pH is the key issue though, if your meter isn't calibrated, you can't truly dial in the issue.

To me your medium looks a tad on the low side, I highly suspect if you raised the pH the problem would go away.

If you are freaked about the nutrient mix, just dump it on your flower garden outside and mix a new batch for this bucket that you know is within parameters. Calibrate your pH meter, everyone should probably do it more than they do. It's essential garden maintenance.

G`day Windy , Chim

No probs Windy .
Interesting you say mag sulphate Chim . I don`t know for sure , but quite often the high EC of water supplies is from Calcium and iron .
Up the Mag to balance with the Ca ?

Yep seconded on the PH meters . Had more problems from faulty meters than human error myself .

Thanks for sharin

Calcium deficiency. Ignore burn tips and give em cal mag. Different strains react differently to cal def some turn tips yellow on upper new growth, some droop new leaves and some show yellow new growth with rusty spot classic.

I think mine is going through the same thing....

Flood table - flood 5x a day
25gal rez

Nutes -
125mL PBP Grow
20mL Silica
20mL LK
20mL Vitamino
20mL Hydroplex
20mL Cal Mag (added Sunday for the first time)

PHed to 5.9

Any ideas?

I'm with chimera and pbh on this one, looks like a ph imbalanced led to lock out and compounding problems in the nutrient solution...

IMO your ppm are fine, but dwc is not ideal in most rooms for temp and oxygen sat. Already...

I would be using fresh batches of feed at least once every 5 days, check meters every week too, and try to keep ph up 6.2-6.5 till flower set for maximum nutrient absorption. If temps go up you will have root damage too.....

looks like fluctuating, unstable PH, and/or overwatered Nutrient "Lock up". flush with R.O, P.H under 6.0 and keep your res under 800ppm after the flush.

I'm with Chimera, Mag Sulfate instead of Cal Mag.. the slight discoloration between the veins and lightly burnt tips looks like early mag def.. and the folded over serrations looks like a early sulfur def.... maybe slight over watering as well...

Its a whole lot easier to diagnose further along in the progression, but who wants to wait for that? lol

She is looking much better I listened to everyone's advice. I made fresh water with the ppm at 450ish,and hit it with a bump of cal mag.I also added more air to the root zone.

She looks way better the purplish on the stems are fading away before it was a very dark deep purple No green.

Leaves starting to look normal and just overall much better.

I want to thank every one that commented on this thread you guys helped me out,and this is what I C is about
