Is this Bud rot ?

i cut off the infected bud..just to be on the safe side.the rest of the plant seems fine..thank god

if it is bud rot can i dry it and make hash of it..or would that be a bad thing to do?

thats budrot. I 'm having problems myself with humidity. i'm almost in week 6 and humidity is 80% with lights off. Hope not to have that shit in my buds.

thanks guys....it's a first time for everything...damn ...it was 1 of the top colas 9.5 weeks in flower.

and as for actually smoking it....Nooooooooo...you don`t want mold spores floating around your lungs my friend...although alot of people recommend water curing...but personally i`d just bin it...aint worth the risk...just my thoughts.

As for the dehumidifier...i got one from the local b&q..it cost me £75 and its sucking an average of 4-1/2 ltres a night out the room...it only measures 20" x 15" x 12" and its worth its weight in gold.

You could make some BHO, isn't that the best way to save moldy buds?

Forget trying to save that piece and focus on saving your entire crop man. Mold produces spores and spores can float around your entire grow area if agitated and potentially infect everything if you're too relaxed about it. So cut that moldy shit off and probably a large area around the infected area because its possible the spores have already spread to surrounding areas.

Good luck, I'd hate to see your whole grow go down the tubes cause of this!

5 colas had to be chopped....damn..damn..damn...I've been growing for 4 years and never had bud rot before


managed to save some of the lower buds on 2 of the colas..

You growing indoors?
Bud rot for indoor grows is not very common(normally)..

I had bud rot on my outdoor grow(was in a plastic greenhouse))
Anyway the bud rot i had
Looked dark compared to what we see in yours...Yours looks quite Bright/white....More like webbing.....


The others seem to think it IS bud rot tho,So go along with that for now(

Budrot sucks balls and like was said it can quickly spread. Here's another pic of rot and is a real heart stopper when you see it
