If so do I need to flush or....?

These guys are 3 weeks into veg, 16oz hempy cups, 3:1 perlite/verm.

Fed twice a day with the following formula (I've been thinking of switching to feed once/water once per day ie every 12 hours)

1/4 tsp superthrive
1/2 tsp calmag
1 tsp sensi-a
1 tsp sensi-b

Per gallon

Thoughts?

A few thoughts...

1) Get rid of the superthrive.

2) It's more likely to be magnesium. Hard to tell exactly, but whatever it is the nutrients you have are capable of taking care of it. Check your pH. Adjust it to 5.8-6.0 if it's off. If it's good, bump up your nutes a bit.

3) Put them in ~11 liter pots.

Also, what kind of water are you using? Tap? Do you let it sit out for 24hrs or bubble it with an airstone?

Any particular gripe with the superthrive? Been feeding these guys calmag for the past 2 weeks or so...I'll have to check my PH again.

Water is RO, I don't currently let it sit out, but I have some bubbling right now actually because I plan on brewing some teas.

Superthrive is unpredictable at best. It can encourage root growth, or use too much and it can make your plants completely defoliate. It can cause a growth spurt, or it can just make your plants look wonky. It has horse manure all over the label instead of just-the-facts (a huge red flag...snake oil). They don't tell you everything that's in it, or how much is in it...which may lead to conflicts with other members of your nute regimen. (lockouts)

IMO, there are a few situations where a few drops of superthrive added to your plants water at just the right stage in growth could be beneficial. But then again, there are so many other products out there for such things that don't contain all the extra crap that Superthrive does.

I still have a bottle of it from a few years ago. I used to use it during transplanting and cloning. Just stopped one day when I decided I'd reached the point of diminishing returns with all the additives I was using, and never looked back.

Yes, you may also be experiencing "taco leaf" because of your lights or fans. What kind of lights do you have and how close are they to your plants? Are your fans blowing directly at your plants or circulating air around the room? Light stress can cause this, as well as having a fan that is too strong or too close blowing directly at your plants.

If all of the above is fine make sure your pH is between 5.8-6.2. If it's already there bump up your nutes a little. You can probably get away with a little more cal-mag than that.

Thanks for the reply. It's a 4bulb T5HO setup, about 3" away from the tallest plants. The fan is on the side of the plants, pointed at the light so the air bounces off the light and onto the plants. A small breeze, not too bad IMHO.

I'm going to be real diligent this week about the PH and will try upping the calmag in a few days. Thanks for the reply.

As an update, I got super OCD with the PH. 5.8 in, 6.2 out

They get fed every 24h with the following schedule

Day 1: Nutes
Day 2: EWC Tea
Day 3: RO

Repeat

They're looking super super healthy now.
