mornin campers...got over an inch of rain yesterday...that's like 20% of the total for the year!
errands to run and the garden to deal with today,along with as much trimming as i can force myself to do,it would be good to get like 3oz done since i can sell those immediately,and more really since i can at least get another qp gone right away...
first a jaunt around town to finish the shopping trips to prepare for the work week...this week i'm working on cleaning the warehouse...being held up by the stupid cordless vacuum cleaner...only holds enough charge to get two sets of shelves semi free of dust...almost through one wall,then i can get out the soapy,bleachy water and wipe everything down...then i get to do inventory again,this time with a list stripped of all the no longer carried products,and a better idea of where,and what,everything is...

Haha. Three days after they took everything when they raided him I sent him $250 with a Walmart to Walmart transfer so he could get gas and some food. He told me that was his girlfriends name.

I am slowly healing my truck of Ebola. On rain days I have been working on it.

It was losing power steering fluid. I changed the hoses.

It was losing oil. I changed the oil pan seal and the rear main seal. Still need to change the front crankshaft seal.

I got a new side fuel tank to put in latter. To stop it from losing gas.

I put in a new radiator.

I need to change the differential plate seal yet.

But the good news is that it was not leaking washer fluid. But I did have to change the wiper motor.

Also new u joints, clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing, pilot bearing, wiper blades, sway bar links, and harmonic balancer.

Have you seen the cost of trucks? Yikes. I am in for about $500 for parts and some time.

I tried to get 5 different places to change the main seal and oil pan. no one would do it. So I am doing it. The cost to do that was $1200 4 years ago. I didnt have the time to let them have the truck so I just topped off the oil. Now that I have the time no one else does.

That cost is all labor. The parts for the oil pan and rear main with the oil change only come out to about $125. As for the rest of the parts I figured I might as well do it since I am doing the oil seals already. The clutch flywheel u joints all had to be taken out any way to do the rear main. And they need to be changed very soon.

Got an email from my truck telling me it needs a new battery.
Went and bought one and went to replace it and had to come in and watch a damn you tube video just to figure it out.
Need to remove the damn coolant tank just to get the battery out.
Looks like tomorrow will be the day to do that.

I was at the lumber yard the other day and a guys battery was bad. He called a tow truck. I helped him clean the terminals and put a new battery in. I find it amazing how many people cant do basic things to their cars or trucks.

Not say this about you Tree. But his battery was right there and easy to get to. My wife's is in the back of here car under the trunk bed. I didn't even know that there was a place there.

My trucks are older so they are easy to work on. That is one of the biggest reason I have them. The other is that parts are cheap as hell. I just bough 4 sets of front brake pads for $20. That is $5 to change the front pads. And they fit both my work trucks. I use them to tow trailers so they get used up quick.
