i dont think those be fungus nats , the maggots look brown , fungus nats maggots white with shiny black head, forget their name close to fungus nat just harder to kill they feed the same , i just today had to deal with those fungus nat maggots here is what worked for me , h2o2 hydrogin proxcid 3% stregth 1/2 oz per gallon of soil fist water with half your nutes for feeding then add the 1/2 h2o2 , let sit 5mins dose with rest of nutes , applie this under the soil i used a turkey baster stick it into the container about 3" deep as it will rise up not fall in soil , let it flow in at its normal rate dont let the feeder tube up, will make a mess . this killed the maggot form dead , adults shoud be killed on site then put some dry food source i used crushed oatmeal this keeps the flys from getting out of the soil but keeps them in the very top of pot not eating your roots , anyway total killed the maggots a bottel of h020 is 88 cents at cvs turkey baster 1.59 though could use about anything , though turkey baster has messerment on it and removeable top su u can use funel less mess , hope this helps , h020 works good to flush out any nutes to soo feed like i said , and use it spareingly like once ever 2 weeks as salt build up could hurt if over done , plants dont seem to mind it at all , maybe they even like it
