Is there such a thing as a 6 week strain?

I've had stuff that looked good at 6 weeks, but was always better at 8 or 9. That's just my opinion.
MOB is supposed to be a 7 weeker, but I'd like to see how much different it is at 9.
A lot of fruit is picked under-ripe and is still very good, and some people even prefer it. My wife likes bananas with a little green in the peel. I won't touch them until I have some brown spots. It's the same with weed.
