Is there any THC in VEG trim? Like for Canna-butter?

I found high concentrations of thc and cbd in vegetative leaf of african landrace strains
Not as resin but in the leaf it self ,
Its very much strain dependent .A

Yes there are harvestable cannabinoids in vegging plants, but not as much as in flowering plants.

We routinely extract them along with stems and fan leaves for our topicals.

Not as tasty as bud or sweet trim, nor does it produce as much head effect if vaporized, but it does produce good pain relief.

Leaves are much higher in CBD than THC, which = medicinal effects & very little high.

I don't know how well bubble bags would work, since most strains I've grown don't have many trichomes in veg. The trim still has plenty of good cannabinoids inside, though.

Lately I've been using mine to make canna-milk. I take a measured amount of dried leaves (either from males or from females in veg), rinse them off in a strainer, then add them to a pot of whole milk. I simmer for an hour or so, then strain out the leaves and refrigerate the milk.

If I do it right, one shot of milk is enough to get me high. My last recipe used 10 grams of dried leaves with one pint of whole milk. The amount required varies by strain. I generally just make a pint at a time. If I make larger batches, I'll have to freeze some of the milk so it doesn't go bad before I can drink it.

the trick is to use the same solvent again and again with new plant matter...its time consuming but this way you can process large-ish volumes of plant matter without needing to buy and then evaporate equally large volumes of solvent
i guess that gives me something new to try. thanks bhodi. fwiw, all of my veg trim goes in my iso jar.

I never mess with the big leaves, but by harvest time there are very few of those. The smaller leaves and popcorn buds all fall into the hash pile. Never tried a male plant.

Unless there are visible trichomes you would be wasting your time (I have visible trichomes on fan leaves frequently in veg) and a lot of it. It's better to compost it and use it to make a tea for your plants.

I disagree too. Leaves without trichomes still have lots of thc inside. I'd rather make a tea to get me high instead of wasting it on the plants. Organic nutes are cheap; cannabis that gets me high is valuable to me. Throwing away leaves is like throwing away all your one and five dollar bills just because they're not as good as the twenties and hundreds.
